ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LEFT EXCEPT THE SHELL OF THE TREE.All it will do now is throw out watersprouts which just grow upwards and have no blossom or apples for 3 years. They call it 'TOPPING'. EVEN ONTARIO GOVERNMENT HORTICULTRE SAY IT IS THE WRONG THING TO DO. I got a second opinion from Colonial in Georgetown. He kindly did not charge me for the 2nd opinion and said there was absolutely nothing to be done except wait 3 years then start again to gradually prune. He was very sad to see the tree and was much more knowledgeable. I will definitely use them in 3 years time (if i am still around that is) i am getting absolutely no reply from Hilltop. SHAME ON YOU YOU ARE LETTING GEORGETOWN AND SENIORS DOWN.
