I see Dr. Batton as she is by far the best doctor I've ever been too. The offices are pristine. Always clean. The wait time is 5-10 tops. I really enjoy how they have the doctors waiting rooms split up into pods. It's more efficient and helps the process move quickly. One of my favorite things about the office is they have a lab on site that contracts with most insurance so your lab work is extremely affordable with no hidden fees. Overall awesome facility and one stop shop for your healthcare needs!

Four months on from my wellness visit I am being hounded by labcorp for payment due to an original…read moremiscoding when ordering lab work for me. They didn't code the visit as a wellness visit and coded as a meet and greet with a new doctor. This was despite me not requesting a change of primary care provider. The change was only necessary because the provider left McLeod. After I got bills from McLeod , I contacted them and they eventually corrected their own bill but they are refusing to contact labcorp with updated coding so that labcorp can correct their bill. I have spent too many hours of my time on the phone with blue cross and with labcorp and they both tell my it has to be the provider who initially ordered the blood draws that has to contact them in order for this to be corrected.

I have been waiting three weeks to have them call my mail in pharmacy for preauthorization of my diabetes medication. That pharmacy has been calling them for over a month. Nothing. I have called their office and left text and left voice messages about this too. Still no pre authorization! It is NOT good to be out of diabetes medication for so long. I have also been waiting for a week to have a different prescription sent to my local pharmacy. Again. Not done, despite my reminder calls to their office. This is not the first time this has happened either. I think I'll be better off at an urgent care.

For not coming here for a good reason my experience was as pleasant as it could have possibly been…read more I was treated with kindness and respect. I felt heard and understood. I was taken in immediately for an EKG. They used a portable machine as well as a portable chest x ray. Took my blood and got the IV first try. All the nurses and Drs were communicating with each other with respect and seemed to be on the same page. I love all the checks and balances they have to ensure no mistakes are made. This may frustrate others but repeating yourself is how you get the best care. They have a poster on the wall so you know about how long to expect for results. Thankfully my results all came within a half hour 45 minutes and some even instant (EKG.) The bathroom was a bit messy but CLEAN. The room I was in was also clean from top to bottom. The stool was the only thing dirty but that's used to step on to get to the higher shelves. It had no baring on care. I may not have gotten the answers I was looking for but I was assured my heart was okay and I could travel back home to Connecticut the next day. I hope to never come back here but won't be mad if I do!

Extremely disappointed! my son has been going to Grand Strand Peds since he was born. my baby got…read moresick over the weekend and had to go to a sick visit at the Carolin forest office... they gave us a follow up for shots... however when I made the statement if the shots weren't mandatory I didn't want my son to have them I was discharged from the practic... when I called to 82nd to see if we could be seen there I was told if one Dr chooses to discharge you they all stand by it no matter the reason they won't go against the Dr. I can now understand why my son had 3 different doctors in 2 years although we were going to the same facilit... high turnover rate for a reason!

Dr Dickinson was referred to me by my aunt, who works at Grand Strand Hospital. Like anyone, I was…read morea little uneasy at first until I met him. This man is not just a Dr he is your best friend. He cares like no other Dr I've ever seen. I had hernia repair surgery on Friday and he came in to visit me before the surgery to tell me what was going to happen. He walked into the room and all my fears and concerns went out the window. He spoke to me and my girlfriend like we were his family. He told us exactly what was going to happen during the procedure. After the surgery was done, he went out and spoke to her like any other Dr would, but he went out and talked to her with care. He told her everything that happened, from the mishaps to the surgery. By far the most caring Dr I've ever had. Dr Dickinson, I would want nothing more than to continue being your patient and send in people your way, for them to have the same experience that we had. Again, you are truly and amazing Dr and a wonderful person. Thank you for all that you've done and have yet to do.
