Owner, Chris, did consult agreeing that maple was in good shape, just needed light trim. crew showed up (not with Chris). Scott trimmed front perfectly. Another young man proceeded to climb my maple. I looked out the window and noticed that he was, what I considered, OVERLY AGGRESSIVE in trimming! They were picking up branches to haul off and appeared to be packing up. I opened window and asked them about mulberry as that was the one I was most worried about. Didn't want it to bring wires down when snow flies. stated they didn't have on work order. I showed him my estimate and called owner - handed worker the phone. They then trimmed mulberry. Would have liked it trimmed the way I explained to Chris but as long as the wires are clear, I let it go. Only reason for 3 stars was punctuality and politeness of crew. We chose to go with A New Leaf because they were competitive and Chris Voss, the owner, took time to review our options, explained everything thoroughly, seemed to care greatly rather than business first and his estimate was very competitive. We booked a date 3-4 weeks out. Yesterday, a crew of 4 guys came to our house with a bucket truck, tractor, trailer. Randy was the foreman of the crew and was very knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. In 4-5 hours, they transformed our curb appeal, our yard, removed all of the branches hanging our our roof and pruned the entire trees perfectly. The tree's still look like trees, they look healthier and 10x better. We could not be more pleased. Lastly, these guys are VERY GOOD at what they do. Above our garage, they took out some huge limbs that would have fallen and crushed our garage, but the guys used ropes and their skills and experience to remove these branches. I was watching and just waiting for it to hit the garage, but it never did, it was pretty amazing. I am just a normal homeowner and have to say, if you need any tree service, A new Leaf tree service exceeded all of our expectations and they were so easy to work with, you will not be disappointed. I trust them fully and will be calling again the next time I need tree pruning or services.
