These guys worked on 3 large trees I could never cut myself. They went right to work and did the best work we ever had with a tree trimming company. Seth reviewed the branches we wanted cut and got everything done we wanted including a wonderful cleanup job. The price was more than reasonable for the work they accomplished! read more

I requested an estimate through Yelp and got an immediate response. Before the day was out they had been to my house to assess and I had a verbal quote that was very competitive. After getting quotes from other firms I went with these folks. When I called to schedule they were able to fit me in the very next day because they were doing work on another property a few blocks away. They agreed to do my property first so that I could coordinate with other things. The job crew was polite and capable. They quickly figured out how to clear the way. The tree (a mature dead ash) was down in about an hour. By request they left the large logs. Otherwise the cleanup was impeccable. Only small hiccup was that they neglected to mention they wanted a check immediately- they didn't issue an invoice. read more

Hired Just the Tree Guy to trim trees and grind 3 stumps, 2 of which he measured and 1 he was unable to measure. Received a quote that did not specifically explain what we had agreed upon to be done. My error. As I was not available to be there , asked that my adult daughter be the contact person. They just showed up unannounced spoke with family member at the house who was actually on a work call, and proceeded to do some of the work. Largest stump was not touched and largest tree was not trimmed as requested They were paid in full by, again, disturbing family member trying to complete work call! Agreement was for me to pay them-not the family member, who really had no knowledge of what was actually to be done! Repeated calls and texts have not been answered. Would like partial refund or work to be completed! But they don't answer!! Will not suggest this company to anyone! read more

Mark and crew were so great to work with! We had quite a few massive trees to be taken down and they were expertly done, leaving only an inch or two of stump. Good price and actually did a decent job on tree removal and trimming. While they took the cut materials away, the "clean up" promised didn't really happen. I spend several hours raking up my yard and fixing the holes in it. Also, they agreed to coordinate having someone they work with grind the stump. We have left multiple email and text messages about it and they have failed to respond to any of them for several weeks. We are moving on and would use them again. read more

As a neighbor of someone who hired Just the Tree Guy, I wanted to tell my experience as someone who did not hire Mark. The tree being removed was easier to access from our yard and we agreed to let them access the tree. The day of removal without our permission, the chipper and all supplies were parked in our yard and driveway. We incurred property damage which Mark refused to correct. Mark and his crew took down part of our swing set and ripped out fencing around our garden. The damage to the swing set was beyond repair and when approached about what was happening in our yard, Mark lied about having permission to do what he did. Both parts of the tree were dropped in our yard and caused damage to our landscaping and garden. Additionally, landscaping lights had been pulled up from our yard. I am posting this as a cautionary tale. We were not compensated for any of the damage that we incurred. The manager came out a few days later to inspect the damage. We came to an agreement on what they would do to right the damages they did. It is 4 months later and they have not done what they said they would do. Please reconsider when thinking of going with Mark. read more
