My initial back and forth with the company was really touch and go. I would submit papers and not hear back for days/weeks so I finally left a message on their phone line to see what was happening and got an IMMEDIATE call from Dr. Dodini himself. He apologized for the mishaps and personally got me scheduled for an online assessment. My testing came in super fast but for some reason my computer would not register my answers, so he had me come in to take the test in office. I really appreciated it because he was able to explain the full process to me, make sure I was set up correctly and was able to get my results pretty much right after the test in person. To nobody's surprise I tested positive for ADHD and Dr. Dodini gave me a full breakdown of what I had trouble with + my options for help. I was able to take my paperwork to my doctor and figure out next steps whether it was medication or an executive functioning coach. I had been feeling slightly off the past few years and he had assured me that I have had ADHD my whole life but things like becoming a working parent, a pandemic, etc had caused all my masking to become undone and it was not my fault. I left the appointment feeling emotional but also empowered. They also have a newsletter that they said out to former patients with helpful information + tips as well as webinars. I highly recommend.

Dr. Dodini is a lifesaver. My PCP referred me to him after I had searched far and wide for a…read morepsychiatrist to help me deal with my ADHD symptoms. I was never diagnosed in childhood and my adult diagnosis was no longer in my records. After my second child was born, I found myself forgetful, impulsive, frequently overwhelmed and struggling. I honestly thought my career was going to be over. My PCP stepped in last year and provided me with short term relief, but she really wanted a full diagnosis to understand whether the treatments were effective or necessary. Finding a psychiatrist in a pandemic was very difficult and many don't do such diagnoses remotely, but Dr. Dodini does! His office responded within 24 hours to my request and sent a full panel of information within 2 days. I paid the fee for the assessment (it's out of network for everyone so I had to pay upfront for reimbursement) and was given all of the information for the ONLINE assessment. I was very skeptical. I didn't think that an online test could possibly be able to measure what was going on in my mind. I was wrong. Within 24 hours of taking the online test, I had a call with Dr. Dodini -- a call that he graciously rescheduled when my ADHD helped me calendar it on the wrong time so I showed up with 3 minutes left in my appointment time. On that call, he explained the results of the test, how it works, and what it had measured. I PROMISE YOU, I felt SEEN, Supported, Understood and HOPEFUL for the first time in YEARS. My meds are way too low, which I knew, but was scared to ask for more to keep my doctor from thinking I was med seeking. My coping mechanisms are ALL FRIED and I am burnt OUT. Dr. Dodini explained WHY and how my mental health challenges are all exacerbating each other and how increasing my dosage and adding some small changes into my daily life can completely change my life. He also gave me some excellent resources that I've already started looking into, including an ADHD coach, which I've been looking for for TWO YEARS!!!! I cannot overstate how happy this appointment made me. I already have a therapist and a doctor, but having the diagnosis on paper and dealing with someone who actually understood what I was going through and could explain it was absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend Dr. Dodini enough. If you're struggling. If you've been diagnosed with ADHD or ADD or just feel like you could have it, PLEASE see him. I promise you will leave with a much better understanding of what is going on in your brain as well as the PAPERWORK that can help your psychiatrist or MD help you to change your life!

Reasons why I think Dr. Radkowsky is a great couples therapist:…read more --We've gone from sniping & irritability to enjoying being together. --We're no longer angry at each other most of the time --When we do get angry, it's usually easy to quickly calm down --I am becoming way more resilient and less prone to getting annoyed (and I think my spouse is, too!) Michael helped us see how we were basically spinning our tires in a snowbank. Lots of energy, frustration, smoke, and burnt rubber getting nowhere. Now we're transforming our occasionally tense marriage into a solid relationship that's also relaxed: we have room to be ourselves, get a lot of what we want, and aren't trying to control or be controlled by each other. Whew! Michael is a very approachable, normal guy. We're extremely comfortable talking to him. (Smart, too). One other thing I like is that I've been mildly depressed for a while and that has cleared up as we've been working with Michael. Though most of the focus is on the two of us we also talk about/look at individual issues and that has been very productive. Finally: close to Metro!! I'm glad my excellent physician (who I also gave a great review to!) referred us.

I started seeing him after a horrible breakup from an abusive partner, and now almost a year later I feel stronger and more confident then I ever have. Michael has a way of making you feel so comfortable that it allows you to just pour out what you are thinking and then he helps you backtrack it to understand what it really means. But most importantly how you can work to deal with it in a different way that is healthy and productive. Lastly- its just refreshing to be able to have a therapist who is also queer and knows the in's and out's of our culture. Where I can make a comment about being a bear and him just know what I'm referring too. As our community moves more towards assimilation- its good to be in a queer space and feel free.
