His therapeutic style is very relaxed and conversational, yet still professional. I appreciate the casual feel it gives as I am able to be remain comfortable throughout our sessions together. We really work well together, discussing serious matters like family issues or ongoing mental health, but we'll also joke a little bit every now and then to lighten the heavy mood. I'm grateful that he is so attuned to what I'm feeling and being able to adjust the style of the conversation as needed. I've never been to therapy prior to him, so I must say that I really lucked out on being paired with him especially due to the severe anxiety I was dealing with when I first began seeing him. He also has apologized for any short notice cancellations (which are very rare) he may have to make and always encourages me to reschedule with the front office as soon as I am able. I truly appreciate how kind and considerate he is overall. I can tell that he's not just an excellent social worker but a great human being. In fact, he has inspired me to become a social worker and future LCSW as well. I aspire to be at least half as good a therapist as he is. And I must mention that Kim Rodgers is an amazing secretary. She always says hello to me when I make it into the office (I have had to move my sessions to mostly TeleHealth due to financial strain) and asks me how I am. She also is kind enough to ask me if I'd like a water which is great because I sometimes leave my water at home and am thirsty before sessions. I do enjoy our brief chats (if she isn't busy answering phone calls, rescheduling sessions, responding to emails, etc.) before Michael steps out to grab me. As Michael has said, the administration is an integral part of the rockstar team that makes up Family Guidance Centers. All administrative staff I have spoken to over the last couple years have all been kind and willing to assist me in rescheduling appointments or canceling (which has only happened once!). None of them have ever had a bad attitude or made me feel uncomfortable trying to receive help. I'm truly grateful for Family Guidance Centers and all they do to help their community. Dr.Latoya Bragg is one of only two psychiatrist in my 14 years of this struggle to not only diagnose me appropriately...she prescribed me medication to at least make me feel normal and get decent sleep. Im sure many of you struggle with the inability to sleep due to your mind is racing with thoughts at all times. I encourage you to seek her out. My insurance really is of no use for me bc shes not in my network, however, bc she is just that amazing and necessary for my mental health. I have no problem paying the fee she charges. Its reasonable. Im on ssdi remember.. my mental is a challenge and i dont need to waste my money. If you truly want help... call and make an appointment. I promise you wont regret it. He takes the time to listen and really cares about your health and well being. This brand new office has a large and welcoming waiting room, short wait times and friendly and welcoming staff. Their technology is also a major hurdle; the check-in texts send you to forms that don't work, and their app doesn't actually facilitate insurance uploads or check-ins as promised. Combined with the high staff turnover, it's lost the reliability it once had. I'm hoping things get better soon.

My father sees NP Kim Plummer. My father is 76 years old with congestive heart failure, diabetes, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. In November of 2022 he got very ill with a virus (dangerous for a cancer patient) & ran around 103 degrees fever for three days while we tried to get in touch with NP Plummer. After the fourth day, we finally got a phone call back (after talking to the answering service in Ohio). She told the answering service to give her about 30 minutes to call my mom back (she was the on-call doctor & it was 6am. We were ready to take him to the hospital). When she finally called, she told my mother, in a very impatient manner, that she had already called in a prescription for my dad two days ago. No one in the office, including NP Plummer, took time to inform my mother of this. When mom told NP Plummer no one had informed us, Plummer's response was "I did my part". Apparently, bedside manner was not a course she took in medical school. Don't go here. Not only is she dismissive and uncaring, but the office is completely unorganized and obviously has communication problems.

They can handle most of your illnesses or whatever else ail's you. I hope you don't need to see a doctor,but if you do give them a shot:-)
