Today my husband received a bill via email stating that effective next month our automatic withdrawal was increasing by $22 per month. I have a plethora of medical issues and am on disability. Some months I have more doctor's appointments than others. When my husband called to ascertain why our car insurance was going up, he was told that State Farm had been notified of our mileage via a third party (The car dealership) and we were placing too much mileage on the car. We live in Rio Rancho and my appointments are in the same city. When I was employed we placed much more mileage on our previous car and not one time did the rates go up when we took it to the Dealer for oil changes. Is this a NM thing or what? $22 per month is a lot when living off disability. All of our family members also have State Farm but that will soon change. Punishing the disabled is not a good look.

Stay away!! I purchased an insurance policy via Ms. Peralta in March 2022. Per her instructions, I…read morewired approximately $2100 to the insurance company. Then, in October 2022, I reached out to Ms. Peralta so that I can make a change in coverage. She avoided my calls/texts, so I called the insurer. They informed me that I never had coverage due to lack of documentation and that the $2100 was refunded to Almonte Agency in April and that the check was cashed in May. At no time did Ms. Peralta reach out to me. For 7 months, I thought I had valid insurance coverage. When I texted her with what I knew, she said she would refund me that same day. But it took me 8 hours of her not answering calls/texts, and much frustration, to finally get my money back. What she did was unethical and illegal.
