Because the guys at Signal Services didn't have to walk me through what was happening and how to fix it. They didn't get paid, had plenty of other things to be doing that day, but took the time to help me out for free. With that, they earned a 5 star review and my pledge to use them again in the future if I ever need services that they offer. They knew every last random detail about houses like ours, did impeccable handiwork, and were fabulous communicators. It may not seem like an emergency to the average person, but it was for me because I was concerned that I could not get my alarm to set as I was leaving in the evening, and my shop is full of expensive Christmas merchandise at the moment. I called Froula, and Jaspyr was the technician on call. He was extremely polite and helpful, guiding me through checking various pieces of equipment in the shop and saving me the money a tech visit would have cost me. We figured out together, while he stayed extremely calm, that a battery was burned out. I went to to a grocery store to buy a new one, even calling him from that store to make sure I was buying the right battery. Then I called him from a ladder in my shop, and he explained exactly how to replace the battery and reset the alarm. I am SO GRATEFUL for this assistance, and for Jaspyr's calm and reassuring manner. Shopkeepers live in terror that we will be burglarized, and a properly set alarm, maintained by a company that cares, staffed by experienced and kind technicians, is essential to running a bricks and mortar shop. Jaspyr understands all that, and I am very appreciative of his assistance, which took about two hours from start to finish. I called Aces due to their 5 star reviews. I needed to have…read moreinstalled a phase 2 E/V charger in the garage. I also wanted three existing outdoor sconce lights replaces and one additional sconce light added. Furthermore we needs a garage outlet punched in from the adjacent room. Aces came out to see the scope of the job and had some suggestions on placement closer to the breaker box as it would be cheaper not to run the power line to where we wanted the unit. Also suggested a hardwired E/V charger rather than plug in, as a safer and cheaper route. He returned the day after our E/V unit was delivered and finished the entire project, E/V install, sconce lights and new outlet, within 3 hours. And the cost was under his original estimate. Not only would I call on him again, I did. We needed a second outlet in the garage for out Trimlights. He arrived 2 days before the Trimlight installers and completed the job in a few minutes. Fantastic work!

The total cost for the work outlined above was just over $600 and took about 3 hours to complete.
