However, it was a very pleasant stay. It's been a HOT summer but the A/C in our room kept us nice and cool. The decor isn't super modern and extravagant like some big hotel chains, but we actually really appreciated that. This hotel was quaint and very endearing and charming. Our room was big with a very comfortable bed, chairs, and plenty of counter space. The bathroom had a sink/tub combo which I was a fan of, and we had a fantastic view of the lake. On top of all of this, the staff was so sweet and friendly to us on our stay. We would definitely return, this was a great vacation and a gorgeous town.

The owners are nice and accommodating. I called to make a reservation and was able to do so. It was $35.00 a night. The price includes your campsite, fire pit, access to kayaks, showers, and bathroom. To be clear, we picked a site where you can set up a tent and not an RV. But RV sites are also available. Check in was a breeze and was brought to our site once we checked in. Wood is sold on the site. Its a dollar per log. We did see a bear by the garbage and immediately called the owners to let them know. They did come and close the garbage bins and made a lot of noise to lure the bear away. Make sure after you eat you put all food and drinks in your car and leave nothing out once you head to bed. This will attract bears if you leave stuff out over night.

We booked him for 12, he was in the driveway at 11:55, ready to go. We got some history, some background info on the wineries, and a very relaxing, comfortable drive in a very clean Cadillac. What followed was a lot of laughing and a lot of wine tasting (and glass of wine drinking), since I definitely didn't have to drive, which was a really nice treat. We were never rushed and Chico waited for us at each stop. One was 15 minutes, another an hour and change. He parked close, got us in and out and on our way so we could hit all the places we wanted to go. I've had some terrible car service before (to and from EWR and JFK), so it's nice to know that there are some good ones out there. Chico is based a little far to be my regular guy, but since there is a LOT to do in the Warwick area, we will definitely be back, and he will be one of the first calls we make.

He is excellent in planning a trip whether it's to an airport, a night on the town, or some other purpose. He is great in choosing the pick up time depending upon the time of day and destination to ensure arrival a few minutes early, rather than a minute late. I'm not a fan of the camp sites much, they are very close to each other and very close to the pond/water and that makes it so there are a lot of bugs. It's good if you like bugs, frogs, snakes they are around. I'm glad I came but I'm not sure I'll come back again.
