Pat Collins and Jesus didn't just repair our home, they took care of it like it was their own…read morefamily's home. Honestly, that's the best way I can describe the whole experience. We got connected with Pat to help figure out an HVAC issue we were having, and from the very first conversation he made us feel like we weren't just another job on his list. Since we were out of state the entire time, we were nervous about not being able to see things in person, but Pat treated us the way you'd hope a close friend or relative would. He proactively expedited our request, checked every single part of the system himself, and took pictures along the way so we always knew exactly what was happening in our own home. What really got us was how much he genuinely cared. He didn't just coordinate the work, he answered every single question we had, no matter how small, and never once made us feel like a burden even though we were calling from so far away. It's rare to find someone who treats a stranger's home with that kind of personal attention, like they had just as much invested in getting it right as we did. Jesus brought that same heart to the landscaping, and together they gave our home a complete makeover that we're endlessly grateful for. If you want people who will genuinely look out for you and your home like family, not just contractors doing a job, Pat Collins and Jesus are who you call. We feel lucky to have found them.

I wish this could have gone better but disappointed doesn't begin to describe it. A section of…read morefence unattached, dirt work incomplete, ruts left behind from a trailer getting stuck, gate chains broken off within months. I paid for pre-treat rust inhibitor and Sherwin Williams DTM paint. Not cheap. In under 6 months it flaked off to expose rust. Since workmanship was guaranteed for a year and these things happened in under 8 months I requested repair. Since the initial request for repair it's been 13 months of promises and excuses or completely being ignored. I'm still looking at a rusty fence. My suggestion is (if you must use this fence company) hold final payment until all work is completed and paint or stain your own fence. $13,493 and I'm left with an unsightly rusted pipe fence among other things.

He helped me understand some challenges I could face and together we came up with a plan that he quoted. It was a fair price for the work. His communication was great. He provided references when asked and I called and spoke to several past customers and I drove to see past jobs. All was good. He showed up when he said he would. He brought the correct equipment for the job and showed up with several workers who worked well together. They had a process they followed which allowed them to work efficiently. They cleaned up the site and I am very pleased with the job they did. The quote provided was on target. The fence is straight and I have received many compliments. Bryon called after the fence install to follow up that the gate motor was installed without issue and I appreciate this customer service. Highly recommended.

On the contrary, I like him because of how he respects them. There were some issues caused by the remodel but they came by and fixed it for free. I do admit, it is sometimes a hassle to get a hold of them but their quality and knowledge os excellent. The owner Kevin knows how to do pretty much everything and he'll come out if he can't get anyone to. They were recommended to me by the tile shop and the tile shop only gives out names of people that have proven track records. I'll use them again if need be.

I was unfortunately referred to Double J Contractors by a friend in McKinney who assumed they did…read morequality work. They were one of the companies to jump on the hail storm bandwagon with the storm that came through this last April. This was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. Every single step of the way I had to call and call, and endlessly hound them to complete the work on my home. They of course made taking my insurance payment priority and then vanished. When they did manage to show up, they damaged my property during each one of their visits and completed extremely poor quality projects, regardless of what was asked of them. They couldn't even stain a fence correctly with large gaps completely missed. They cracked my windows, left massive gaps, holes, and cracks on all installs. Rude and entitled during each conversation. They are a totally unprofessional and dangerous to use company. The owner, Kevin Johnson, screams obscenities and threats towards his customers when asking him to follow through with what was promised, while his partner Billy Helmke will say anything to you in order to get you to sign their "contract". Afterwards they will take the money, complete only the bare minimum over many, many months and leave you high and dry. One of the worst contractors I have ever seen in my entire life. This is the type of company that gives all contractors a bad name and has ruined that industry. You've been warned, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
