Denim is their main focus, and Dulay is one of the largest denim retailers in the south west. They stock all the main brands like Levi and Wrangler, but cheaper than you're likely to find elsewhere. A good team of staff (which is quite large - there's always someone available to assist) complete the package for a very good shop.

They do a good range of jeans - although I couldn't find any baggy enough for my preference, there's plenty to choose from if you're into average leg widths. The staff are friendly, but not overbearing as they can be in other places and the prices aren't bad either. We were staying across the street at the Future Inn and on the evening we arrived, we strolled over to take a quick peek at the adventures I would be exploring the next day. Much to my surprise, pleasure and happiness, there was a Pret right there as soon as we walked in! Breakfast at the hotel was on the pricey side so we knew where we'd be coming in the morning and we certainly needed to get fueled up for a day of shopping! CC has lots of high end, brand name stores and with even more shops beyond the boundaries of CC, this made for a lovely day of retail therapy. My poor husband... oh well, at least they had an Apple store for him. ;)

Guess bags, belts and purses have a unique look: colourful, fun and slightly trashy - and I love them. Walking into the low-lit shop brought me right back to being in the hot, hot heat and feeling drunk at midday. I love browsing the oversized shoulder bags and garish belts and feel a real envy over women confident enough to wear them. The prices aren't cheap, as you are paying for the name and quality, but if you see a bag you love I'm sure it's worth every penny.

Here in the UK its changed into a slightly upmarket position for some reason, perhaps because of H&M! Still it turns clothes around every two weeks form the floor but you can rely on certain things from the store - clothes in muted or basic colours in good cuts. They often keep in fashion with the details - the right buttons, neckline etc. Prices are still reasonable - you can pick up a t-shirt for a tenner, I particularly like their coats though and they are good for dressing for work. The store is nice - it has a good spot at the end/entrance of Cabot and a couple of floors. The store leads you round in a big circle making it comfortable for browsing and plenty of people on the till.

When I buy something from All Saints, I know I'm paying for quality and sustainability. And there's no denying that what Bristol's store offers isn't well made and will last for years. But if you're looking for something unique and beautiful, I'd pop across the road to Urban Outfitters who offer a wider range and better value for money.

Terrible move removing the tills and replacing with self check outs…read more The queue was so long for the till that was open as you can not take returns to self check out. the one staff member on the tills who served me was super miserable . ( low staff moral I'm guessing). Then to find the exit entrance at the back of the store has now closed permanently due to store theft.. idea... put a security guard on the exit entrance. this is extremely concerning from a health and safety perspective as a emergency exit, everyone running for the stairs in a fire of a building of that size is dangerous. do better primark!

I thought I was cured when all Bristol had to offer was the worst of the worst Primark's, with their poor selection and disorganised layout. But then they opened a super-store sized outlet and I just couldn't resist. I'm not saying it's the best one I've been to, and I've been to MANY, but I've never come out empty handed. My favourite thing about the brand new shiny Primark is their range of accessories which take up almost a third of the ground floor. Their underwear department is a bit lacking, but their sparkly dresses and cheap hosiery more than make up for it. The queues are still long, and you need a patient of a saint to trawl through the rails, but compared to most Primark stores this one is well managed and easy to navigate.

Perching on the corner of Cabot Circus, Apricot feels like the shabbier cousin or younger sister of the big, expensive shops in the new development.

On walking into the shop I was not amazed by the service, that is not to say I was disappointed, the shop assistants were amicable and provided a decent service but nothing extraordinary. However, the products and the feel of the store were a very pleasant surprise. The clothes are on trend but different enough to distinguish Apricot from Primark or Topshop. Lots of pretty prints and well placed frills, and the dress that my girlfriend 'just had to buy'; 'just off white with fantastic black piping shoulder details!' Apparently (I have no idea what that means). I was immediately struck by the prices- for the quality there are very cheap - I am definitely heading back as there are many bargains to be had.

They also stock several lines including boutique and Kate Moss which makes the store feel unique, interesting and bang on trend. The only thing that lets them down is their slow service as they often have queues leading well into the shops. Their sales aren't too exciting, but the clothes are affordable enough that there's no need to wait!

The staff are friendly and usually not to be found. You'll here a request for all staff to go to the checkout once, twice, then four more times before the person on the till gives up. John Lewis this is not. I love TK Maxx nonetheless, bringing decent fashion slightly more within the reach of us without too much money by making a slightly stressful game of going shopping.
