Arrived the next day, and spoke to an employee to pick up my order, but he was rude and told me that I couldn't pick it up because it wasn't ready yet and that he had 65 orders ahead of me, even though those other orders weren't there and we had spent an hour round trip to drive out and come pick this up. Received the email saying it was ready for pickup half an hour later.... At least the other employee who I picked it up from two weeks later was much nicer. Highly recommend shopping at 401 Games or Boardgame Bliss instead.

The atmosphere is incredibly casual. Workers there are quick to help. At least two of them will openly tell you when something is a bad deal, but won't fight you on it if you wish to continue with the purchase.

They have models from Warhammer, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Marvel. There were a ton of accessories like paint brushes, model paint, glue, and related tools. It was a busy day in the store. They have a few well lit cubicles that served as stations for painting and model building. They were offering a free workshop that day for kids as part of the Kerr Street Kid Fest. The employees were patiently helping kids with their first minis. There is an area in the basement of the store for games as well. It's near that they had these two areas separate to keep it accessible to folks new to the miniatures. There are some board games and trading cards (mostly Pokemon) available here for sale but the majority of the store was for mini hobbyists. The pricing is actually the same or a little cheaper than the official Warhammer stores for things like primer and paint which was awesome to see. The store seems to be really committed to building a community. They have their own Discord server for customers to keep in touch. They were really busy with the extra traffic from the festival so we didn't get to talk much to the employees about the store events. Hopefully we can learn a bit more from them on our next visit.

The store carries everything you'd expect which is an abundance of new and used games for many video game platforms. The staff are pretty friendly and the store is never packed. If you pre-order games here the lineups can get bad on release day but never as bad as larger cities like Toronto.

October 13 2020 just before I went to work I asked a friend if he could go purchase a video game for me and to use my debit. No big deal, I heard NHL 21 was out so I wanted to try this game when I came home from work however what I didn't realize there was an early release fee for this game because it apparently doesn't fully release to public until that Friday (16th). The game came out to be $146.89? I didn't realize this until the following Friday. Are you guys kidding me at EB? $146.89? My buddy that I sent was a close 70 year old friend who knows nothing about video games and thought this was normal however personally if I seen or knew anything about early fee's I wouldn't of waisted money on ANY video game! NOT to mention that garbage game EA NHL 21 it released. I hope to god that EB Games goes outta business after seeing this garbage I personally went though. I'm sure it happens to many other people who just wanna buy their children the game not knowing wtf these fee's that these employees are talkin about. Their carefully curated selections focus on many genres that not many other big name stores would care to bring in. The owner Chris is quick with excellent recommendations and is always happy to talk to walk-ins. Ive been a customer for a few years now and can only say since opening the store continues to grow and i will go there first before buying online or anywhere else. As for pricing the Canadian dollar is to blame because when comparing his prices to other Intl markets i found it to be very similar. Well worth a visit!!
