The work that was done prior to Ignacio Ramirez was horrendous, to say the least. Broken drywall, sloppy compound work, poor window sill construction, and an obvious lack of care was evident everywhere. My wife and I were devastated because this project means a lot to us. Mr. Ramirez showed up on time to give us an assessment and quoted us a price that day for bringing the studio to a Level 5 finish. Mr. Ramirez removed old drywall and installed new drywall to areas that could not be repaired, applied drywall compound to all surfaces, re-taped many areas that were poorly done, repaired the framing around 3 large windows, installed new corner bead to several areas, primed all surfaces, and applied a finish coat of ceiling paint to 12' ceilings. He also swept up all drywall dust and cleaned the floors before leaving the job. My wife and I are thrilled with the quality and care that Mr. Ramirez provided throughout the job. It is very evident that Mr. Ramirez takes tremendous pride in his work and it shows! Thank you, Ignacio, for turning a disaster into a gem! Stream provided us with full service repair which included installing new flooring and painting the room. One of his sub-contractors even repaired our roof and relocated our hot tub. We hired Community Contractors in 2018 to build a bulkhead on our property on Toledo Bend. They…read morewere recommended by the SRA (Sabine River Authority) for doing great work. Their contract has a 5 year warranty and that they would maintain it as the fill dirt would settle over time. The bulkhead is now collapsing and the fill dirt is washing into the lake and no one is answering their phones. The owner came out with his daughter and looked at the issue back in June 2020 and said yes, it needed to be repaired and would get on it. Ever since then no one will answer our calls. They just let the phone ring.... After the exorbitant amount that it cost to have the bulkhead built I would think it would have lasted at least 2 years! The SRA came out 2/2/2021 and took pictures and stated this needed to be corrected and soon before it all washes into the reservoir. It's sad that we have to endure this treatment and that a piece of the Texas shoreline is now endanger of collapse. They need to answer the phone and adhere to the contract.
