You will not see any name signage or phone number in street view. No Website presence I can find. Had to call family local to get their info to create this Yelp presence and post this review. I certainly enjoyed the cream sticks. Several visits. Since they are an unknown out west where I live. Where I live. Donuts that look deceivingly similar. Are called Maple or Chocolate bars. A dry un-filled look a like on the surface. If I ask for cream sticks the request is met with a blank stare. They have a good selection of Deli items and other baked goods. Along with other convenience store type items. Even a good stock of Cockeye BBQ brand ice cream.

I can no longer safely shop in this store. Every single week there are flashing and strobing…read morelights everywhere in the store. Multiple times I have encountered the SAME flashing lights the very next week. Once it was a MONTH before that particular panel was fixed. I've contacted corporate before about this issue, which they promptly replied with a "talk to the manager" rather than run any kind of interference themselves. It's hard to talk to the manager when they are either a) never there when you are, and b) fighting through auras and trying not to have a seizure and die on their floor. It is very much not worth the potential injury. Beyond that, the store is just a mess. I'm constantly finding rotten and moldy food in the produce section. None of which lasts as it should. The meat is old and poor quality. And for general groceries there's just not much of a selection. The deli counter is about the only nice thing, with quality meat and kind and helpful staff that works there. The rest of the staff is hit or miss. There are some very nice ones and then there are some that very clearly don't want to be there. I've noticed though between overhearing conversations and talking with some of the better staff that it's clear that management is an issue in more than just their lack of maintenance. There have been so many times that staff have been made to work long hours without even the smallest break, let alone getting to go to lunch. Quality service starts from the top down, and in that this store has failed epically as far as I'm concerned. After my last visit, I decided to "order" the same exact items from Giant Eagle to compare prices and it was the same cost. (GE was actually cheaper, but without the sale savings it was the same.) If I'm going to pay the high price of groceries, I may as well get the selection of a larger store. Oh, and no flickering lights trying to take me out.

It's got plenty of beverage options including bottles/cans, fountain drinks, beer, liquor, energy drinks, coffee, etc. They make pizza, wings, onion rings etc which you can order there or call ahead. Of course they also have snack food like chips, candy, and the like. I frequently get gas here because it's normally the cheapest option in town. However it's always a bit of a gamble. While I haven't had problems recently, there have been numerous times in the past where I go inside and pay and then walk out to my car only to find the pump isn't on yet. More than once they forgot to enter it in and I had to go back inside and wait in line again to ask them to turn on the pump. There was one occasion where I had to do that and they entered $15 instead of the $20 I handed them the first time I was in there. When I went back in the third time to ask why it stopped at $15 the woman was adamant that was what I gave her. I should've insisted but decided it wasn't worth the hassle. The pumps themselves used to have issues all the time, but I think that has been addressed although I can't be sure. The employees here are an interesting mix. There are several who are always polite and mild mannered. Then there are some who are so impressively rude I can't believe they still have a job. I try to be understanding and know Newton Falls locals can be mean and overall not great customers and I know everyone has bad days. But there are employees who, without fail, are borderline aggressively rude without any prompting. I have been yelled at, ignored, and straight up insulted by several particular workers. I don't engage them outside of pleasantries and small talk at the counter so I can't imagine I provoked them in some way. Plus I've seen them treat other customers the same way. Once I was yelled at (as in she raised her voice and not politely reprimanded me and my friend) for looking at the liquor after the time it was legal to buy it. Just to be clear, we weren't attempting to purchase it, just looking as we passed by to get pop and we are well above the legal age. It was weird, and I'm not entirely sure why it was an issue. On another occasion I waited in what seemed to be an empty store for someone to help me at the counter. Not altogether unusual, it was in the middle of the night and I imagine they were slow. Eventually she came up but was on the phone. Without saying anything to me she started to cash me out, all while having an inappropriate personal phone call in front of me, swear words and all. That being said, there are some very nice employees as well. I just never seem to see them anymore.
