Picked my dog up from Newton after boarding there for 5 days and he was sick within 24 hours with kennel cough. I called to let them know that he was sick and they may want to disinfect all the kennels a little more, not telling them they did anything wrong, just that he was sick after being there and the lady that had answered the phone kept cutting me off. "We clean the kennels all the time with bleach and blah blah blah" I finally get a word in to tell her that I am not complaining and just wanted to let them know and she says "Yep, we will keep doing what we are doing" That obviously doesn't work because he is not around any other dogs so that is the only place he could have picked it up. We won't be going back there again. And yes, my dog is up to date on ALL vaccinations so we did our part. read more

Love Newton's kennel, I have used them for close to 20 years. They take great care of your pets (both cats and dogs). They do a wonderful job grooming and bathing. I have two Huskies, Newton's bathed and brushed them during the height of shedding season and literally performed a miracle! Hair that would have taken me three weeks to get out with daily brushing Newton's got out in one session. AMAZING! I have an older dog who required some additional care in February due to a recent surgery. I almost postponed our vacation, but Ron (owner) and Tiffany (associate) assured me he would be well cared for and he was! Rest assured, you can trust Newton's with your furry children. read more

Don't know what we would do without Newton. We have had two dogs we have boarded there over a 22 year period. They were and are both rescue dogs with emotional problems. Play time included which is interacting and they do special needs if you request it. The people there are so friendly and so good with the animals; I am so glad I have Newton to take our dog to. read more

Do not take your pets to this kennel. Recently, we left 3 dogs in their care while away on vacation. Upon picking them up, 2 dogs were fine, the third, an older pom was in horrible condition. My wife was told he felt a little cold, and to warm him up. When arriving home, he could not walk on his own, and was suffering from severe hypothermia. Hours later, our precious friend was dead. These idiots were either clueless as to what they had done, or blatantly lied to us. Their representative on the phone insisted he just died from old age. If it was purely ignorance, or something worse, I do not know. Either way, we will NEVER use this kennel, again. If you care about your pets, I would advise finding anywhere else take them. read more
