She put out a Have A Heart trap to try and catch our cat Buddy, before she contacted us, to no avail. We returned from our trip 9/20/2021 and went to the business to help look for Buddy. While crawling around the shop, we noticed holes in the floor that lead to a crawl space that we assume lead to the outside. Our cat is roaming around Mount Sterling somewhere. We put out flyers around the neighborhood in hopes of finding him. We have had our dogs groomed there for the past three years and she does a good job doing that. I wouldn't trust her to watch your animals. The shop is filthy, reeks of urine, there is hair everywhere and very disorganized. We discovered how filthy the place was when we were crawling around looking for our cat. Wish us luck in finding our cat!

I took him in at 7:30am and had him back by 6:00pm the same day, way groggy and obviously not too happy with his dad. (Not happy going in, not happy coming back out, but he's over it now). Thank goodness they have short memories when it comes to this kind of thing. The neuter along with a distemper vaccination and rabies vaccination were in total: $45.00. I'd definitely recommend them as the staff was very nice, straight to business and answered my questions about his post op care. I would not hesitate to use them again. TIP: If you need assistance with spaying or neutering your cat, contact Cat Welfare first to get an application and they will set everything up. They will let you know the vet's name and address, the time/day of your appointment and you take it from there.

He had been in a fight and required staples, but when I called and explained the situation, they refused to see him. They said I could make an appointment for the following Thursday. This happened on a Friday. They showed no compassion or concern for his well-being and simply turned us away. It's incredibly frustrating when a vet clinic, which is supposed to help animals in need, refuses service in an emergency. If you truly care about your pet's health, I would recommend finding a more reliable and compassionate clinic that actually prioritizes the animals they claim to serve. I have since learned some/most Veterinarian offices will see your pet in case of emergency during business hours. After reviewing the website I could not find a policy for that.

I am really struggling leaving this review because I truly loved this business and thought they did…read morean EXCELLENT job grooming my doodle. I was able to get my doodle scheduled for every 6 week grooms in May 2024 after being on a waiting list. I was so thrilled with this business because it made grooms so convenient for us & my pup was SO much happier than being dropped off at a groomer. It was truly the best of both worlds! I always received compliments on how well my pup did during the grooming sessions & his cuts were always PERFECT!! In December 2024, I received a phone call from the owner around 2 weeks after his scheduled groom. The owner informed me they would no longer be able to groom my pup because of his size. When I signed my pup up for grooms, he was around 55lbs and now he's around 65lbs. I understand they do have a 50lb weight limit and was informed they allowed it at first but now he is just too big. They also noted his height, which he is a pretty tall boy. While I completely understand their concern, I am just extremely upset it became an issue over 6 months after the grooms started. His height didn't change much, he just filled out through his body. The main reason I am upset is due to the lack of notice. As a mobile grooming business, they are well aware there is typically a waitlist for these services. While I did get my pup on a waitlist shortly after I was informed of this, he is still on a waitlist for another business. It is now the time for his every 6 week groom & I have no idea when he will be able to get into the new place. I truly wish I would've received more notice for this, even letting me know after his NEXT groom, they would no longer be able to groom him. The owner & groomer are very nice & friendly BUT I do wish this situation was handled differently.

I recently picked up a foster puppy from a rescue by Alum creek to take to London animal hospital…read morefor a Parvo test. Unfortunately like most dogs in new environments the puppy was very anxious in the car. He expressed his anxiety through his bowels, it was an impressive amount of poo for such a small guy. It was all over the crate, in my hair all over him, he made his point - he wants to be held on the way home. Without even asking they helped me get the crate and cleaned it out for me. Unfortunately the puppy was still positive for parvo (doing very well). My dog at home was 3 days late on his routine Parvo vaccines. I'm in a panic trying to get my dogs appointment moved up at his regular vet, even just for a vaccine and we could wait until his regular appointment for the wellness, they wouldn't budge. Fortunately London Animal hospital went out of their way and got us in to get him updated on his vaccines. They were so patient with him- he's a very nervous guy. It's a little bit farther than our regular vet but we will be back. The staff is warm and welcoming and very informative
