There were puppies there though and as much as I have no interest in having pets I did want to walk away with one. I will say this though, Skippy who has a produce stand in the back (closest to main road) was very, very generous. He and his staff give out samples of their produce and holy the strawberries and plums blew my mind away. I had no interest in buying anything, but, I did bring a half a bushel of macowen apples from my friends farm in MA with me for my trip. I asked to trade my apples for some of his berries and plums and he agreed. Probably brought him a pecks worth and he gave me some strawberries, plums and grapes! Good trade for both of us in my opinion. If you read this Skippy thank you again. I did buy a $5 berry and cream dessert from another vendor which I made them laugh because I skipped using the straw and just drank it out of the cup. I personally if I lived here would come just for the food.

I could (and have already) spent hours on end getting lost in the loaded aisles gazing over their unique finds. The 1st visit was a week day and I didn't have but 30 minutes to scavenge for a couple new home necessities. I ended up leaving with a rustic, full size, hand made American Flag and a 1971 Pillsbury dough boy toy for a family member who grew up loving the dough boy. The flag was marked at $25 but the owner gave both to me for $20 - he works with you consistently on giving great deals. The 2nd visit was a Saturday for their "flea market" style layout. Every weekend from 9 - 5 they bring one of the aisles of things out under a tent so you're able to view even more things both inside and out - you may have heard this event called the "Old Dairy Flea Market." I came for a dresser and left with a dresser, bedside table, vintage black military bin, plant table, 1970's hand crafted pottery lamp, and queen bed frame set all for $120. All in great shape and blend perfectly together in my new room. I am so thankful to have stumbled upon this place as it's definitely the best bang for your buck here in town when it comes to high quality vintage goods on a budget. The owners hearts are as big as their smiles and I can't wait to come back and see what more they collect. Anyone and everyone should check out this local business!

Totally cool that you don't like the current President; I loathed the former President. Yet, I didn't go around saying things such as "F$&@ the President." That is in total poor taste. Plus, if you are trying to sell merchandise, it seems like you might want to be Switzerland. And maybe the loss of my business is made up by all those who support those who say things like "F$&@ the President," but why take that chance? I definitely will not suggest anyone visit this establishment.

This is a little flea market mall not too far from Surf City. I stopped in because I was looking…read morefor a few treasures. The store is packed with a mix of vintage and new stock and some junk. Some of the booths had locally handmade Christmas ornaments and decor. But basically the store was a well organized garage and craft sale. I saw everything from clothing to kitchenware. Prices ranged from crazy high to reasonable. The clerk was friendly, welcoming and engaging. I did end up buying a vintage martini glass. There is plenty of parking. They are currently decorated and stocked for Christmas.
