Ate here on a Tuesday evening, ordered the set menu, which was good value for a starter, main, and dessert. Food quality was average and service was average. The phone was ringing regularly for take-away, so the food in general must be favorable to many. As I do not tolerate MSG, I asked the server about MSG use. He looked at me like I was an idiot, saying "everything has it", but upon realizing that I was planning to watch my husband eat rather than order anything with MSG in it, he did reluctantly suggest dishes that could be made without the additive. If you sit at a booth, be aware. The tables appear to be old pub tables so that when coupled with the fixed high back upholstered booth seats, there is very little room for your lower extremities. You must slide in, one leg at a time at an angle and then contort yourself to get your other leg in, sort of Houdini-like. Or just clumsily climb into the booth. This from someone with slender legs. Good luck. I suggest asking to be seated at a table. read more
