I called at 1:15 on a Thursday after my regular vet couldn't take Benji even tho I called at 8:00…read moream The person that answered the phone was so caring & understanding when I told her Benji was peeing blood, not a little, a lot. She said let me move a client and we can see Benji at 4:30 Upon arrival I was greeted by friendly people at desk. I filled out paperwork and was seen within 10 minutes. The tech asked questions and I told her all about the situation. I said I would like a x-ray done because his previous vet never did one. Benji had bladder infections in the past. They said let's do some bloodwork and a X-ray. I was given a written estimate before they did anything, which I appreciated. The vet came in after his X-ray and said yes Benji has bladder stones. She took me to the X-ray room and showed me the films. I was in shock that poor Benji wasn't in pain . She then explained all my options and I said I want them removed, I don't want to take the chance of them getting bigger or causing further damage. We decided to do all his pre op tests and bloodwork and scheduled surgery for Monday. Day of surgery everything went smoothly, except she found 20 small stones that were hiding She was able to remove them all. Benji stayed overnight for observation. I picked him up Tuesday, got all of his instructions and we went home. I would definitely recommend Dr.karina Falcon she was very caring and super nice. She explained everything before and after surgery. The girls at front desk and the techs are awesome too. Super friendly and compassionate. You usually don't encounter such great service

I brought my cat in last week, and after less than 5 minutes the tech and the veterinarian told me that my cat was too crazy to examine and they would have to sedate her to examine her. I took her to another vet today and neither he nor the tech had any issues with an exam. Horrible that after less than 5 minutes they wanted to put her out to do an exam. Again the other vet I went to this week had no issues. Of course Nova still charged me for the visit.

This place is truly filled with compassion and empathy. I brought my cat here as an emergency…read morebecause she was suffering from kidney disease and was not feeling well. Unfortunately, after learning that there was very little chance of recovery, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to let her go. I was afraid of being with her during this difficult process, but the kindness and compassion of the staff gave me a sense of peace, calm, and reassurance. I knew my kitty was in the best possible hands, and she passed away peacefully and with dignity. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by sadness, I felt a sense of relief knowing that she was finally free from her suffering. I cannot thank the staff enough for their empathy, kindness, and support during one of the most difficult moments of my life. They made an incredibly painful experience feel peaceful and comforting, and I will always be grateful for the care they gave my beloved kitty.

**** I cannot…read moreexpress enough gratitude for the care, compassion, and kindness our family received from the entire team at Advanced Veterinary Care Center. We first brought our beloved Jack there about a month ago in a very serious condition. He was suffering from acute kidney problems in addition to advanced heart disease. The team treated him with extraordinary competence and care, and he improved enough to come home and spend three more precious weeks with our family. Those weeks meant more to us than words can describe. Unfortunately, we had to return when Jack went into severe congestive heart failure and was struggling to breathe. From the moment we arrived, everyone treated him with urgency, tenderness, and respect. They placed him in oxygen, tried to stabilize him, explained every detail honestly, and gave us the time and support we needed to face the most painful decision of our lives. Jack passed away there in my arms, exactly as I wanted: close to me, surrounded by love. My husband and our children were also able to be present and participate in saying goodbye. The staff created a peaceful, private, and loving environment for us. Even during such a heartbreaking moment, they were gentle, patient, compassionate, and deeply respectful of both Jack and our family. Today, they called to let me know that Jack's ashes had arrived and were ready to be picked up. That call brought all the pain back, but it also reminded me of how thoughtfully they cared for every part of this experience--from trying to save his life to helping us honor him after his passing. Jack was not "just a dog." He was our family, our companion, and one of the greatest loves of our lives. We will forever be grateful that, during his final moments, he was surrounded by people who understood how deeply he was loved. Thank you to every doctor, nurse, technician, and staff member who cared for Jack and supported our family. Your professionalism was exceptional, but it was your humanity, warmth, and compassion that we will never forget. Letizzia Bafile

Over the years, we briefly tried other veterinarians due to rising costs, but nothing compares to the care, compassion, and dedication we experienced when we truly needed it most. One of our three beloved kitties, Katy Pury, was recently diagnosed with feline triaditis. We don't have children--our cats are our babies. When our previous vet said he would "look into options" and never followed up, we were devastated and scared. We knew we wanted to do everything possible for our girl and didn't want to live with regrets. That's when Jodi and Dr. B stepped in--and changed everything. From the very first conversation, we felt heard, supported, and hopeful. They offered a truly integrative approach using both Western and Eastern medicine, including acupuncture and herbal therapy. Katy Pury was treated immediately during our first visit, and we are already seeing encouraging signs of improvement with her follow-up care. Instead of being told to prepare for goodbye, we are now filled with hope that our girl will be with us longer because of the thoughtful, proactive treatment she is receiving. If you ever feel that your current vet isn't doing everything possible for your pet, I cannot recommend strongly enough that you seek a second opinion here. Extra Care Animal Hospital goes above and beyond--not just treating pets, but caring for families. Thank you, Jodi and Dr. B, for your compassion, expertise, and for giving us hope when we needed it most. You are truly helping save our baby, Katy Pury.

From the very beginning, the team at Extra Care was incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate as they helped us understand and navigate our options. We ultimately decided to move forward with amputation. It was a frightening and unfamiliar journey, but one we knew we had to take for Chloe. Less than a week after her diagnosis, she underwent surgery and recovered quickly. Throughout that time, the hospital took wonderful care of her and helped us adjust to our new normal. Most importantly, Chloe was happy and no longer in pain, and for that we were truly grateful. She went on to live two more wonderful years. Although the cancer eventually returned, even after amputation and chemotherapy, we would not trade those two years for anything. We would make the same decision again without hesitation, especially now that we know how much love, support, and hope this process can bring. We are so thankful for Dr. T and her staff at Extra Care. They were there for us through every high and low, and they made an incredibly difficult experience feel a little less overwhelming. This is truly a special place that felt like home to us. Chloe was always happy to see Dr. T and her amazing staff, which says so much about the love and care they gave her. They are simply wonderful.
