STAY AWAY!!!! I am in the process of going through a road traffic accident claim with new law solicitors (who I was allocated to by my insurance company) and really cant believe how unprofessional and unhelpful they are! I had my accident in Dec 2011 which the 3rd party had admitted full liability for from the beginning. I was out of work for 6 months! and was seen by there joke of a independent doctor who checked me over in 5 minutes and apparently was able to give my solicitors a more in depth detailed report than my physio team who I had 10 sessions with and my own GP who id been to see on 7 different occasions, both of which didn't agree with report but had no say (crazy!) A figure of £3,000 was put forward by my solicitors for my injuries which I was not happy with as the accident didn't just cause me physical damage but also effected me mentally but they would not change it as they new best. This was figure was agreed to by the 3rd party solicitors straight away which obviously means I was right to want to go in with a higher offer! I was told by my case handler that I would not end up being out of pocket for anything, which I am now finding to be false. I was told I wouldn't have to save phone records as new law will claim for at least £35 (which I have gone over by many a pound mainly because I am always chasing them) but now I am being told I need to provide evidence if i want to claim for any call charges which I now no longer have! Also I was paid whilst off work under the agreement that id be in debt to the company for this amount as my wife had just had our first child 3 weeks before the accident and I was the only source of income to pay our bills and mortgage (which my case handler said was ok and that I would get back with no problems) thanks to my to my two business partners putting in extra hours even though one of them is 73 and is normally in the office they managed to earn enough to continue this throughout my absence and now I am being offered £500 (not the £5,350 which I now owe) and I am being advised to accept it!!!! JOKE!!!! I could go on and on but I fear I may bore you. The one star is the lowest I could give and that is way to generous. I advise you to not use this solicitors if you have a choice. read more

Terrible. Was knocked off my motorcycle from behind while stationary at a junction. Third party insurer admitted 100% liability from the off October 2012. Painful neck injury, broken sternum, hurt legs, back etc. Still no full payout for bike, helmet, equipment or torn Rukka armoured biker kit. Was sent to a joke of a doctor in a disgusting pube ridden room (not kidding!) who put totally the wrong name on the report and missed off things I told him. Highlighted last January and still waiting to be corrected, now Newlaw have stopped my physio pending the correct name on the report coming back. Against the advice of the physio THEY instructed!! So far 2.5 months with no help and pain increasing daily. Rude at times and no end in sight. Dealing with Newlaw feels worse than the damn accident. All I want is to get back to fitness, recover my losses and move on. read more

I would have to say that I am not very assured so far by the job New Law are doing for me. I have asked for a number of details to be clarified via email and so far I have not received any correspondence. Upon reading the other reviews I have to say that I am starting to agree with the majority and that it seems hit and miss in regards to what you are told or the service you receive. Hopefully they will turn it round and improve. My claim is still in progress after 6 months, the other party again admitting 100% fault. The medical was very quick and questions were skimmed over to say the least. At present I am unsure of what is currently happening and I am now awaiting an update email which I will hopefully receive this week. I think if that fails I will have to seek advice elsewhere read more

A extremley poor service to the point that I had to tell the 'solicitor' what they should already know. They 'decided' to accept on my behalf even though it was at least £1,800 short of the evidence. On top of that, they agreed to an amount under the receipt value saying that it was acceptable for them to do so! The accident wasn't even my fault and the other party admitted full liability at the scene and with their insurance company. Communication? My particular 'solicitor' doesn't understand what that is. Use less and Dangerous Tesco Insurance recommended to use this solicitors. They does not advise us properly. They are doing like a factory. They just pass all our claims to third party, if they accept it, they will tell us Third party accepted, if not they will tell us Third party has rejected. Apart from that they do not provide any supportive arguments / points to strengthen the case / or do not advise us in favour to us. Very dangerous to use this firm as no win no fee solicitors. I will advise to use some local No win No Fee Solicitors, So they can work favour to us. NO! NO! NO! No! Very Dangerous!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I had the reverse experience of Young&Bright so wanted to note it. My case was Personal Accident damages following a no-fault car accident and while it took a year to settle, it was the other driver's insurance company who dragged their feet even though they admitted liability, I couldn't fault the service from New Law. They also engaged a very bright young Barrister who was totally credible and on the ball at the hearing which, in my view, had the effect of substantially increasing the settlement figure. All documentation and contact with New Law was professionally executed and I'd recommend them to others. read more

really good service, i had a serious motorcycle injury accident my solicitor was brilliant (elisabeth roth ) and could contact her any time ended up recovering £1.8 million due to their quick professional guidance. i must admit you must be on top of it with them but its not all the solicitors job at the end of the day its your case and you must keep instructing them ! its no good sitting back waiting for them to ring you and do it all for you if you want something done just tell them , they're polite understanding solicitors who will go out their way to make sure you get what you need.. really impressed. read more

mine is a motorcycle claim not my fault, his insurance admited liability, new law were great at first, then it was weeks not hearing anything so i had to ring them for any information, lost my file for medical apointment finally saw a comedy medical expert who took just 9 minutes to take my details and investigate my injuries, that are so bad im still off work 7 months later. never spoke to a lawyer just claims advisors, i have now aranged for a real solicitor who i can talk to to take on my case, they maybe ok for the run of the mill ppi claims, but avoid at all costs for anything else. read more

Do notttt use this firm at all. They are the BIGGEST waste of time effort and energy. When I take out my car insurance the first question I ask is does this firm use new law for accidents. They advised me to accept an out of court offer for £1,800, I refused, they were quite rude that I didn't accept. I went to court and received £12,200. I had similar experience as Salsa holic. the only thing is they kept calling and telling me about what was happening with the case. i would've rather them deal with the case and let me know the outcome. I used them for my car accident and were really thorough. Just wish they wouldn't update me with my case all the time though. read more
