This is a great option for camping in the NE Kingdom. Centrally located deep in the woods between Lake Willoughby and Kingdom Trails. The owner Mark was gracious and very helpful in planning our days. Clean showers, portable toilets, well kept campsites, and like minded campers were the highlights. It's important to know what to expect here though. This is a pack in/ pack out camp ground. No dumpsters or rubbishy disposal on site. Sites lack a fire ring of any sort or a picnic table. There is however a communal area with a propane grill, tables, umbrellas, and a large fire tank(?). Cooking of food can be cumbersome with several people using the grill at once. Sitting at the fire pit with strangers I bet would be nice if you happen to have outgoing neighbors. We were not fortunate in that department. All in all this is great low cost and clean option to be located in an amazing area of the country. read more
