The owner had no class and I really never cared to hear her conversations because I thought they were very unprofessional. I began my relationship with Moxi about 5 months ago. Each time I've visited I've scheduled a…read moreconsultation to ensure my results were achievable and realistic. Unfortunately each time, I've been let down. After my first color appointment I let the team know that the color wasn't what we discussed (weird dark streaks, blotchy color) and they scheduled me to return with the same stylist. The second visit was moderately better but I was still surprised and what I ultimately paid (including tips both times) was significantly more than what I received. Unfortunately even with the color corrected, the toner only lasted 2 washes (I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week) so I was pretty bummed. I scheduled another visit for a toner to refresh the color a few weeks later. At this visit the toner so significantly lifted my roots that I now had three colors bands (the original roots that weren't properly addressed, the new red roots and the rest of my hair). It looked ridiculous. Before I even left the appointment I explained how unhappy I was and scheduled another full color appointment. Feeling uncertain about this next service I AGAIN scheduled a consultation. During the consultation the new stylist confirmed she could accomplish the correction of the bands and color I desired. Unfortunately the service date that was scheduled however would not accommodate the service needed. The salon was booked out for a month+ (understandable) and would not accommodate any changes to fix my hair (not understandable). I'm not being unreasonable- each visit has been worse than the last and they've made very little attempt to correct it. To add insult to injury, they cancelled the appointment I did have (partial highlight), leaving me high and dry a week before a vacation, saying I'm not a good fit for the salon and refusing any further adjustments or compensation. The salon employs junior stylists that charge a premium. Ownership has no concept of customer service. Enter at your own risk.

I just moved to the area and Linsey did a was fantastic job welcoming me to Erie & Moxi Salon. I…read morereally, really appreciated the time they spent and their attention to detail on my hair cut. Linsey went above and beyond to transform my extra long hair into an aline bob. I felt extremely comfortable providing feedback and I love how it turned out. My bangs were not looking great when I walked in the door but Linsey did a fantastic job cleaning them up and balancing them out. Thanks again for the great hair cut! Tip: make an appointment online. It's super easy! Oh- and parking can be found behind the business. ( The pictures I shared do not represent how Linsey styled my hair after the appointment. They were taken the day after)

She had her hair dyed black by this person in January 2021. My daughter was told that she couldn't get that color but would come close. She was in the salon for 4 hours to get her hair stripped of the black and then color applied. We walked out of there with color no where near purple. We were asked to come back a week later to get it redone. We were there for 5 hours the second time. Unfortunately, her hair was worse off leaving that day. They stripped her hair of the color a second time and applied 3 different colors/shades of purple. Needless to say my daughter was in tears after getting home. Her hair was purple at the top and shades of various other colors throughout. We were not pleased at all. It was suggested that we give her hair a couple weeks to relax and come back for another try. My daughter was there for less that 2 hours. She did walk out of there with her hair mostly bright purple (almost fluorescent). but there are still places in her hair that are not all the same shade. After paying over $200 for this to be done and it still not 100% corrected, we are not pleased and will not be returning to this salon. I requested a partial refund and was refused. I was told that the expenses exceeded the original cost. Not my fault and not my problem. I will not be returning to this establishment again.
