I am…read morestill in shock from the outburst that I whitnessed from the owner Tony to a customer that was having her nails done when I was present in the Gants Hill shop today. I'm not sure what the issue was as the customer was speaking quietly to one of the lovely technicians, but I certainly heard and saw the way Tony reacted and was appalled. He proceeded to shout and swear very aggressively at the customer whilst myself and another customer were present. He was screaming for her to get out and when I stepped in to try and diffuse the extremely heated situation he shouted for me to get out as well and to never come back. I've been going to nails of promise for almost a year like clockwork every month because the service and skills of the technicians is second to none, but after today I would not feel safe in the shop with Tony present. Based on this today I will not be returning which saddens me.

Today I witnessed this first hand! 2 of my nails were wonky from the last time I had them done and I was discussing options with Helen (Tony's lovely wife) to correct the mistake when Tony overhead and became very aggressive. He started shouting at me and other customers within the shop, swearing and generally being extremely aggressive. He walked away and came back several times to continue shouting at me (too closely) until I managed to leave the shop. I had many apologies from the staff and his wife Helen when I left. Knowing he was in the wrong I wasn't charge for the work I had already had done. I've seen other reviews about his aggressive behaviour to customers and strongly recommend not to use this business.

After the first layer I could tell I did not like the colour I asked if i could change and the lady said no. So I sat there and let them continue. She then finished my nails and I was very unhappy with the colour I asked to speak to the manager, I explained my issue and she did not care. Instead she told me i'd have to pay £20 to change the colour. I did not even get an apology or anything. I'm so disappointed by today's service especially because my whole family come here on a regular basis. We will definitely look for another nail salon.

In fact, it's the first time I've ever had a pedicure!…read more My wife booked me a surprise appointment for father's day and I didn't realise I was getting a pedicure until I walked through the door at the salon! My wife uses the salon a lot and has always been very happy with everything they've done. But I myself have never been, so you're getting this from a virginal source! I walk through the door and it was ultra busy, bearing in mind this was Saturday at 1pm. We sat down but didn't wait long, I got into the chair which had a basin at the bottom to put your feet in with a Jacuzzi effect, a little later I found that the chair had a massage feature too! I actually have very ticklish feet, so I amused the pedicurist while she was doing my feet. I sat in the chair for 30 - 40 minutes. She did such a good job I gave her a tip afterwards. I highly recommend them, if you've never had a pedicure, or have had many.

You always get offered a cup of tea or coffee, and if you become a regular customer, they issue you with an appointment card to keep a record of your visits. You then get £5 off on every 5th visit. Most importantly of all, they take good care of your nails and carry out their work to a very high standard. This salon is well worth a visit.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the salon was clean and a pleasant environment to chili in. My nails look fab.
