Bad experience with New Mexico title loans, I usually don't write reviews but on this particular instance I had to. I took a loan out and have been making all my payment on time and even paid sometime twice the amount so not to pay back all that interest. On Dec 23 2021 I received a call informing me that my payment was due, I informed the girl that I tried over the weekend to my a payment online but the site was down. (it usually is) So I proceeded with my payment and asked how much my payoff was and so I agreed to pay a larger amount. The girl ask me for my card number again which I thought it odd, that was a red flag. A couple of days later I was reviewing my CC statement and noticed that they charged me twice for close to $800 dollars. My payment was less than $250. So I call the location informed them that they had charged me twice at that time she spoke to the manager and were going to refund my payment. Well jump ahead two later and no refund and they're calling me again to make a payment and I told them that I wasn't going to make a payment until that refund shows up in my account. Then I'm informed that they're just going to apply the refund payment toward my newest payment. So they basically lied to me and now or applying a minimal payment with all the interest. This is where they messed up. Do not trust New Mexico Title loan. read more

I gave up and went inside and it was kinda like stepping into the Twilight Zone. There aren't any tellers here. Rather, a dude at the customer service desk, some offices, and several touch screen ATM'S lined up at the end of the room. They were actually pretty fun to use. I dislike the sound effects, they turn into an annoyance after awhile. But they take my crumpled, imperfect dollar bills! I give Nusenda 2 stars as a bank, but this location 4 stars because it's great for the kinda people that don't always like people. Like me!

Today, we stopped in to ask questions. It turns out there are questionable monthly charges that are charged if the account is not maintained at $5,000. We did not realize this and I suggested that she simply return to banking with Bank of Albuquerque, which does not have a monthly minimum. The manager overhears me telling her this and gets out his phone to check and tells me, "Bank of Albuquerque DOES have a monthly fee, 'boss'" So unprofessional and also unnecessary. It's not a debate. I know that the account she has is not subject to any fees because she never closed it, even upon opening this a coint here. It is absolutely okay for an employee of a business to advocate for his company. However, tone it down and don't make it personal.

DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT YOU ENTIRE BUSINESS DISCUSSED, IN DETAIL, ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS. In this case, keeping a secret between 3 people is possible if two of them is dead is absolutely true. I'm filing a lawsuit next week with an attorney. I'm also notifying ever state and federal agency (including the Attorneys General) so as to have them investigate as well. Marybel, you just cost your company more than you'll be around to know. read more
