This lovely ladies' boutique in Lymm has some wonderful finds. I stopped by the window display…read moreand as I was checking out a particular black leather handbag ( a girl can never have enough), I also caught sight of the price- £25. Now this my kind of shop! You walk into a room with huge black chandeliers, gold Rococco mirrors and divine zebra striped chairs and all around there are clothes galore. Where to start? Well, Bee Chic stocks everything from floaty Nina Scimento frocks and cocktail dresses to jumper dresses, over-sized printed t-shirts and white linen jackets. Ladies shopping can be a mean fete and this is one place you can go to with your mum, niece, teenage daughter or friends and no one will be bored, loitering around the door, dying to escape or fiddling with their mobile phone as though their life depended on it. Prices here are so diverse it is confusing. There are satin dresses fit for a ball costing £199, jumper dresses at £29 and jackets being sold for £40. Bee Chic is a market full of wares. It stocks a range of well made costume jewellery and I particularly love those liitle diamante earings and necklaces inspired by Chanel and Vivienne Westwood designs. There are watches full of bling, miniature mirrors, candlesticks and Marilyn Monroe shopper bags- tres chic. This shop also specialises in quality leather goods and I defy you not to discover a clutch or bag you want to skip away with. I ventured into the rear changing area where there are two cubicles hidden behind thick, luxurious black and white fleur de lys curtains. Cheryl the assistant is a real diamond of a lady and cannot do enough for you. She works as part of a team with the owner Barbara who is responsible for sourcing all these products. Bee Chic is a fashion lovers fantasy.

Until last week I didn't consider myself a nudist but I am a true noodist now! This petite boutique…read moreon the leafy Beech Road area of Chorlton Cum Hardy literally drags you in off the pavement with its eye-catching window display. Whoever designed the window display is an artist as a scarecrow dressed in the most yummy butterfly halter-neck stands in a landscape of flowers. I entered in a trance like state and the lovely assistant Rebecca helpfully talked me through the stock. I loved the fact that they do not buy in bulk and you view each garment as a "piece" rather than simply clothes. Prices are moderate, slightly more than high street chains but you don't mind paying £60 for a unique Nood creation as opposed to £45 for a high street clone. Colours are bright and fabrics are great quality. Recognisable names such as Religion get into bed with new designer wares. This is no run of the mill ladieswear. A new range of gorgeous dove grey vintage inspired oilcloth bags and cute jewellery are also available to compliment your outfit. Open Monday to Saturday from 10.30am -6pm, Nood also opens its doors on a Sunday (12-5pm)- very handy for weekday nine to fivers. So did I buy the butterfly dress? Sadly no as Rebecca explained its lining was shop damaged, however she kindly offered to repair it for me. Lovely attitude, lovely shop. Definately one to seek out..

This longevity is testament to the enduring talent of owner Alison, who has continually offered an eclectic mix of clothes, accessories and shoes from her own portfolio as well as interesting ranges from other designers like Religion, Gash and Get Cutie. It never feels stagnant in here, she keeps it fresh and all the accessories, bags and belts are so different to what you'd find on the high street. What I love most about this store though is it caters for every pocket. You can see why it has such a wide appeal.
