This is really useful and you enjoy shopping here! The staff are friendly and helpful and always have a smile. They are really good at changing the stock around dependent on the season. In Spring and Summer they have a full garden and out door section. This is changed over to a Christmas section in the Winter. They have some fantastic sales reducing items by 75%.

It is hidden away at the top of Chippenham, however I would definitely recommend a visit. Inside there are three floors of past and present, my favourite being the top floor, which houses the most wondeful collection of music memorabilia I have ever seen. It is a cosy attic-type place with racks everywhere of old LPs, singles, CDs and books, just like how record shops used to and should be. I would recommend that everyone who can visit Magpie - I can guarantee that you will come out with something that you never intended to buy in the first place, but will not regret doing so!

There are a few independent stores and unusal ones like the Chinese medicine shop. It is quite pleasent to walk through and has a car park attached to the parade. There is a nice coffee shop at the entrance off the high street and one by the car park. Chippenham is not very big so you can find your way around really easily. I think this parade is really pleasent and is an asset to Chippenham.

There is also a new tesco store so you can pick up any bits you need without having to go to one of the out of town supermarkets unnecessarily. Plenty of parking available but it does tend to fill up early at the weekends.

There are independent shops such as the pet shop, health food etc. There is Boswells coffee shop in the centre and that makes the whole shopping centre appealling. The large Tesco Metro which took Somerfields place is the end of the shopping centre. The car park to access this centre is below the shopping centre and allows 1 hour parking for 50p. This is the only car park that still allows this. You can wheel your tesco trolley right down to your car and leave it in the car park trolley bay. So 5 stars for this shopping centre.

My mum has problems with her walker in this store. The clothes are ok, but quite cheap looking and not that cheap to buy! Primark is much better for cheap clothes. There is a changing room, but it is a bit of an after thought and is squeezed into a corner. I think they would be better reducing the amount of stock and concentrating on the teen and young adult market.

The prices can be a little high, but the sales are good. The shoes are nice and I have bought some lovely boots from here before. The staff are friendly and will help if asked. You can browse without someone pouncing on you. I think the clothes are made for a taller women though as all the tops are to long for my Mum. I am not sure what age group they are aiming these clothes at, probably trying to make it cover a wider age range.
