Their work is AMAZING, their style is AMAZING, the experience you will have with them will be AMAZING. Where do I start...? We have had DnK shoot photos for us about 5 times now and the results have been superb every time! When we first met DnK we were looking for a wedding photographer. We met with about half a dozen photographers in the Twin Cities and DnK were the only ones who seemed to be really enthusiastic about our big day. That was a big plus, of course, but even better than that they went out their way to understand our ideas for the big day even though it was just our initial meeting and we hadn't made any commitments to them yet. My wife and I got a of confidence, very quickly, that they would do a fantastic job for us. The wedding photos turned out perfectly, better than we could have hoped. We had a lot of ideas ourselves but Dan and Karin both came up with really fun and cool ideas on the fly, all of which came out wonderfully. Dan is great at the action shots and coming up with unique ideas in real time as he sees folks interacting and moving around. Karin's portraits and group shots are second to none and her detail shots are sensational. Together they make such a great team and compliment each other really well. We also had the videography option too and that also blew us away. On the big day Dan and Karin were on time (important! :o) and they did a great job or organizing everyone. They kept us on track but at the same time made everyone feel at ease and just helped us enjoy ourselves! (Personally, I don't really like having my photo taken, so the idea of wedding and family photos was enough to make me cut straight to the booze at the reception but DnK managed to take all my nerves away and I really did enjoy myself. It was like magic! Ha!) Immediately after the wedding, on the Monday, we did a "Trash the Dress" shoot at the MN State Fair. Let me tell you - it was a BLAST! Despite it being hot, with hundreds of being constantly surrounding us... it was SO MUCH FUN!! DnK's photos of this shoot were every bit as good as the wedding itself! In fact, in summer several of our photos were used by the Fair as a promo for the event!! How cool!? Since the wedding we have been back again and again. My wife is a musical theatre actress, she has had them shoot her promotional shots for her website and they also shot the photos for a production at The MN History Theatre which have been used two years in a row by the theatre. They were so prepared when we met, but prepared like photographers are, somewhat disorganized, but they knew were everything was but totally on top of it. They were quit the duo to watch. They had their business side down, pricing was prepared, photos were in hand, they knew each others strengths so they let the other focus on their side of the business. What really sold me was I asked "Come on, you have some crazy bridezilla moments, right?" My fiance was not on board with hiring a wedding videographer. Let's be honest, it's a little…read moreexpensive when you're trying to keep things budget. That was before we spent three hours together browsing through Sky Focus's blog and watching the assortment of beautiful, high-quality, tear-jerking wedding videos of total and complete strangers. Of course, Matt changed his mind and there we were, all set up with Sky Focus for our wedding day videography. Fast forward a few months and we're preparing for a family vacation of fourteen of us in the Dominican Republic. We were trying to figure out the perfect Christmas gift for my elderly grandparents, when I remembered Sky Focus's "Honeymoon" package. Essentially, Sky Focus supplies you with an HD Go Pro, you take it on your honeymoon, take the footage of a lifetime, and give it back to Sky Focus to edit. Then, voila, an amazing honeymoon documentary. We decided this was the perfect idea for our family trip, and Sky Focus was all for it. After a week of taking so-so footage, we were apprehensive about how our video would turn out. Well, we were wrong. Chris turned the video around in less than a week and it was no less magical than any of his gorgeous wedding videos. Without any suggestions from us, he nailed the music, the vibe, the sentiment, and everything good there was to be had on our family vacation. One family member was missing from the film and I let Chris know--my fault, since I didn't give him a "family list" of people to make sure were included. Within three hours he had that family member smoothly fit into the video like it had been there all along. I cannot say enough about Sky Focus's raw, artistic talent, dedication, and ability to story tell with few words. After this, we are more excited than ever for our wedding film. If he can make something so wonderful out of such mediocre footage (that we, unsophisticated, wobbly, awkward videographers took) we have no doubt about our big day. Highly, highly recommend.

The guys at Sky Focus were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. They were respectful of my budget but their services truly are worth every cent that they charge. Chris and Paresh were extremely professional yet very warm on the day of our wedding. They seemed happy to be there and we were honored to have them. It was about 3 months in between our wedding and when we received the trailer and DVD (no big deal--I had no preconceived notions of when this should arrive) and it was the most beautiful surprise when it did. Obviously in hiring these guys I'd viewed countless trailer videos online, but seeing their cinematic camera work and insightful editing eye applied to our day was absolutely breathtaking. There are not enough flattering adjectives in the dictionary to describe how we feel about this video. I am confident that our children's children will watch it and feel a tugging on their heart strings for how in love their grandparents were. I am serious--it's impossible even a stranger to watch this and not feel something.
