I proceeded with the install which she did not show me, but I thought in my head she wanted to do a reveal so I went with it. It was my birthday and was excited about having a hair style without the exposed thinning crown. midway through she showed me and I saw the exposed hairline on the scalp. She said not to worry because the hair would cover it and she turned me back around and continue with the install as she was cutting the hair I mentioned there's a lot of hair being cut off and nothing. When she finished installing the hair and cutting it and showed me what it look like. my words exactly where that looks funny and she got offended and her energy had shifted at that point I said well I wait till it's fully styled but made a reference to looking like Stuart from Saturday Night Live and she got offended started cutting even more hair and put product in my hair and when she did that, it still looked short (and nothing like the cut I requested) , but I had to leave urgently - I was there from 9 AM to just after 4 PM. Right before I left she had offered to add additional.Wefts so that i could have longer pieces if I was interested which the next day I took her up on the offer. I went back she installed longer wefts. I was happier with longer wefts and left not 100% satisfied, but it looked better than the first appointment. She added the longer wefts on Saturday and come Sunday. I went to bed woke up in the middle of the night in pain. My scalp was tender, and I couldn't sleep. I tried to bear with it thinking maybe I just have to get used to it, but throughout the day, I couldn't focus because my scalp was irritated and tender. Upon lifting the hair I could see the redness and irritation all along where the beads were at, so I sent her a message to advise and of course receive pushback ultimately two days after and I paid over $1000 to have a hair installed for my birthday, I had to have the wefts and beads removed and visited a dermatologist that advised me that was traction alopecia. The natural hair I do have left the cut is uneven. There's a lot of breakage and it will take me years to regrow my hair to a decent length and the hundreds of dollars I spent on PRP injections and caring for my scalp has now gone out the window and I'm embarrassed to be out. I can't have a wig installed as now I have to seek medical treatment (now several hundred more dollars) to rebuild what was destroyed in less than a week. I asked for a refund and she offered to provide me with $360 but offered me that at 8 PM and told me that that offer expired at 8 AM the next morning which of course I did not see until after 8 AM and by the time, I saw the message typed up a response and sent it before noon she never responded back because it was after 8 AM which her timeline was outside of business hours. but respectfully, a haircut and style I didn't even get was priced on her website at $775 and after reviewing all the charges, I pay more than that which means she didn't apply my deposit to that so the hair cost me over 1000. To avoid providing a refund and being accountable, she claimed that I agree to the hairstyle that I got, which is not true and when you look at the picture that I provided and what I got, it is vastly different. Just don't understand how someone could charge more than what's published on their website, not give the person the haircut they want destroy their hair that I walked in with and then not even offered to even provide me a wig to wear to support the regrowth. Instead, I get accused of annihilating and destroying my own hair, which is absurd to say to someone who's already invested thousands of dollars in their hair prior to their appointment and several hundred after. I hope this review helps anybody who has alopecia and is seeking a stylist and maybe my experience will save you from the despair and damage that I went through.

She said we would have to custom order it to make it into my hair color. I would have to spend about $750 on a wig before being able to see one in my color. I also knew they carried black wigs because the lady next to me were being shown them. For the lady next to me, her hairdresser was asking questions to her, making her feel comfortable and making sure everything she tried on was ok, while mine did the opposite. I was there for less than 10 minutes and they told me to pay $25 for the consultation fee that they never even specified to me. This is the first time I've been to a wig shop. I was so nervous and my nerves have gotten even worse while I was there. They even told me that they do not take any measurements either. They were all way out of my price range. I am practically in tears right now. I will not stop into this wig shop ever again. Once I step into stores I wonder if I will be treated like all the other customers because of how short and young looking I look. I'm in my 40s. Now I know I will not be treated the same. I'm never coming here again. I did notice a trend when I walked in there. The older ladies who were shopping around and having wigs put on them were treated much more nicely than someone like me.

My hair came out about 3 shades darker than I wanted and an entirely different color family. My friend's color wasn't at all what she asked for. I also asked for a hair trim. My family has severe hair loss so I preferred to wait until I was over age 40 to evaluate whether hair restoration was a possible option for my genetics. My research was simple. I looked in search engines for the "best hair restoration doctors in the world," and Dr. Cole consistently came up as top 10 , and he was domestic ( my decision was not want to travel internationally for this procedure ). While researching Dr. Cole I was impressed that he does all the procedures himself and also invented many of the instruments in the hair replacement industry. I found the staff friendly and supportive during my consults (mine were done virtually as COVID was still a thing. I chose the CRP plasma treatment along with the procedures for the best chance of success. My first procedure was a little over 4000 grafts, and Dr. Cole focused more on the front half of my head. He told me that he did not do as much in the back-crown as he was hoping I may respond well in the crown area to the topical propecia / minoxidil script he was writing as well as supplements. In the year after the procedure, I did respond , but not as well as expected, so Dr. Cole ordered a a special genetic test to make my script even more precise and I had my second procedure one year later (about 2500 grafts) which filled in the back and some parts of the front hairline. I'm more than happy with the results of this procedure and it has far exceeded what I was expecting from hair replacement. I am now trying more edgy styles like skin fades and plan to grow my hair longer - which is super exciting. I also got back to the gym and lost 25 pounds, so I look and feel like a whole new man. Dr. Cole did strongly advise that I use the suggested supplements and medications to support the hair growth and to decrease any chance of future miniaturization of hair follicles and I am glad that I have followed his plan 100%. I cannot thank Dr Cole enough for taking away the consistent sadness that I experienced about my receding hairline. For me, hair loss made me depressed, and if it makes you sad, just keep in mind that hair transplant is definitely a safe solution for many people that can help you move on in life and feel happy and confident again. As an African American man, I would not recommend this clinic to anyone with Afro-textured hair. Before coming here, I had already consulted with other hair transplant doctors, and they consistently estimated my procedure would require approximately 1,500-2,000 grafts. However, this clinic initially told me they could achieve my goals with only 600-900 grafts. Once I arrived 6/2026, the story changed, and I was told I needed significantly more grafts. That lack of consistency made me feel like I had been misled. The salesperson told me one thing before my appointment, but once I got there, everything changed. It felt more like a sales tactic than an honest consultation. The doctor was also rude and dismissive. He talked over me instead of listening to what I wanted and seemed more interested in doing the procedure his way rather than understanding my goals. He even criticized a photo I sent of my hair and told me I "didn't know how to take a picture," which I found unprofessional and disrespectful. They claim to have experience with Afro-textured hair, but I saw very little evidence of it. Most of the before-and-after photos I was shown were of white male patients.
