I love this child care center. It's in the middle of a nursing home. The children occasionally…read moreinteract with the seniors who are referred to as "grand-friends". Our child has previously gone to both lil' explorers and kindercare. Lil' explorers had way too many kids in each class and our daughter wasn't learning much. Kindercare was too expensive. North Ridge is small class sizes for a certain reasonable price. The staff and classes are diverse. They do weekly themes. My favorite was when they learned about bears and at the end of the week they dressed as explorers and went on a bear hunt. Our daughter is always sad when it's the weekend because that means she can't see Soozee, Tammy, Jessica (teachers and director). The facility overall is a little run down but the kids rooms are bright and full of fun. The teachers have really put in a lot of work into them. They follow all regulations. We've never had a report here where our child was bit (happened weekly at little explorers). There is a dedicated kitchen staff which makes the meals since it's required for the nursing home. There is also a dedicated janitorial staff. In case there was an emergency there are nurses on site, again the benefits of the nursing home. The only downside is you don't get a fully locked down facility. People come and go inside and outside of the building but we've had no problems since the classes are small, they are in their own wing of the building, and the kids stay in their rooms for the most part. The kids get outside most days for play time. Our daughter loves the trikes. They also interact with the grand friends. Just the other week the grand friends put on a puppet show. So if you're struggling with the cost of a center, looking for a smaller class size, and really want to see your child bloom then North Ridge Childcare is for you!

The administrative staff is very unorganized. We signed our son up for their "extra" day camps and classes, only to find out he didn't get to participate in half of them. When you walk in to the classroom, kids are running circles around the staff. Every few days my son came home with a note saying he was bit, or hit with a toy or something. If you want your young ones to get something out of their daycare... go someplace else. After a year here they asked us to either go full-time or rearrange our schedule and split a full week with another family. Well, ok - we decided it wouldn't work. So we found a different place and our son is thriving!!!!! Learning manners, comes home so happy. NO INCIDENT REPORTS. But, this place just won't go away. They charged us $100 registration fee the week before we left and charged us a full 2 weeks tuition after we left. They wanted us to change our schedule - it didn't work out - so now they want more money. I'm warning you - we had multiple tuition hikes while we were there and they charge you 2 registration fees per year. $$$$ Invest in your child. The place we go now is less expensive and such a better organization.

Naturally, I was very nervous and anxious about leaving my baby when my maternity leave was up, but everyone at Primrose made the transition as painless as possible. My daughter very quickly settled in, and absolutely loved going to daycare every day. Her teachers were so kind and loving. We got lots of pictures and fun updates via the app every day. I was very impressed with the curriculum - even in the infant room she had lots of activities and learning opportunities. Another bonus was their awesome menu. Once she began eating table food, it was so nice to know she was being exposed to lots of new, healthy foods each day. A bove all, the number one reason I loved Primrose was the outstanding teachers. She absolutely adored all of her teachers. She would give them huge smiles every morning. Her main teachers were angels. I truly could not ask for better caregivers. Every day when I dropped her off, I knew that she was in outstanding hands. Sadly, we recently moved and had move our daughter to a new daycare center. I can honestly say, leaving this center was the worst part about moving. Our new daycare is fine, but it is nothing compared to Primrose. I would highly recommend this school to anyone. They are outstanding in every way.
