Try a simple google search and maybe you'll learn something, better yet...open a book about Maria Montessori and see what you're missing. You're a disgrace to her work!! NewGate is outstanding! The secondary campus where I attend is fantastic and the teachers are great. They could, perhaps, go a little lighter on the work ;) but in reality, the work is enough to keep you busy but not too much to overwhelm you. read more

In regards to the infant program: they prioritize the teacher's wellbeing over the student's, they don't follow their own policies and change them whenever they please, they exaggerate illness and will send your child home a lot, and they have awful communication with parents regarding issues with their children. read more

Did not have a good experience at all, from administrators to teachers, they were all not very nice people deep down.

My 3yr old daughter has been attending this school and I am so happy! It is a true Montessori school that focuses on educating compassionate, kind adults! Everyone there is so kind. The community of friends has been amazing. read more

I have both of my boys in New Gate School, one in primary and one in lower elementary and I can't be happier with the experience. I feel blessed to have found this school as teachers give their 200% for each one of those kids. Dr. Robin Howe, the director is amazing and easily accessible. FIVE STARS! NewGate Montessori IB School has been a wonderful experience for my two teenagers, ages 16 and 17, over the last three years of attendance. We were new to Montessori education and transferred from the local public school system. We found the transition easy with welcoming staff and students, a challenging curriculum with opportunities for the children to grow both academically and personally. We love that the kids are taught time management, are encouraged to work in groups to problem solve, and are given the responsibility to care for their environment. They are active participants in planning their future and as an upcoming junior and senior, have begun their ambitious pursuit of the IB diploma. When asked by other parents considering an alternative to public school, I tell them that one of the the things my husband and I love most about NewGate is that our teenagers are being taught to be responsible adults and that they truly go to school happy and come home happy. One of my favorite parts of the secondary curriculum is the spring internships, where the children are required to spend a week at a business or with a mentor exploring different careers of interest. They then present their experience to classmates, parents and teachers and have a first hand idea as to whether or not this would or would not be a good career choice for them. This is just one of the many unique opportunities afforded to NewGate middle and high school students. With it's strong sense of community and ever present support from teachers and staff NewGate has been and continues to be a huge blessing to our family. read more
