There's a good under 3s section with a ball pit and 2-stage climbing frame (soft). There are some sit-on soft toys and some blocks. The floor is a bit suspect and there's a bit of an old smell to the area - nothing terrible but you do notice it. The play equipment appears safe but could be in better condition. The main soft play is a triple height affair with climbing, balls, slides and chutes. It's safe and in better condition than the toddler area. At weekends and after school this place can get packed but, during the day it's not too bad. A cafe facility is available serving teas, coffees, soft drinks and snacks. The prices are reasonable. Tables are kept away from the soft play being behind a low wall. They are OK but there's not a good view of the play area meaning that it's hard to have a coffee and take care of your child. For many parents this just seems to mean that they don't watch their child and so you do have to be careful that your child doesn't get set upon by unrully kids. It's not a particularly comfortable place but it's a good local option for a rainy day. Car parking is available.

First-Hand Experience: More info about my personal experience at this stadium - well it's the home team of my sister-in-law, so a lot of her family are huge fans. For this reason, I've been to this stadium as recently as about 8 months ago when I was hanging out with the lovely family. I love the walk up to this stadium... in a tight little Soton neighborhood... past all the Chip Shops. And then you go through the turnstiles, and bam. It's one of my fave stadiums to visit. I've only been maybe 3 or 4 times, and 2011 was the very first time. They had a home game on the same day as one of my concerts, so I was able to have 2 awesome experiences in one day in Southampton. I've been to virtually every significant stadium in the UK & US, due to a lifelong obsession with travel, sport & especially footy (soccer to Americans). Born and raised in England, I followed Oxford United (my hometown team) to many stadiums all over the country at away games, and later followed Liverpool (my fave team) around. Every stadium review - like all my reviews - are from personal experience at these stadiums from multiple visits. In 2011, I was on music tour in the UK, and visited these stadiums then, also. As recently as Fall 2014, when I was "stuck" in the UK for 3 months, I visited all of the stadiums as I travelled around the country. I have pictures of many of them which I will post in future. It's virtually brand new and spiffy and clean and has a great atmosphere for one of the great provincial teams of the UK down on the south coast. It's got some nice chippies near it. It can hold 32k people and is the largest stadium in the South of England outside London. It is a bowl with a roof which keeps the rain away and keeps the noise inside, so it really has everything going for it.

The best thing about is its an ADULT ONLY site - so NO screaming kids at all! The site reception sells milk, bacon, cheese etc but sainsburys is just 5 mins away (good breafast too). Also there is a pub for meals and real ale just 20 mins walk away - go to top of lane and turn right - but take a torch at night!!!

The Littledown centre is centrally located near the hospiatl in Bournemouth. There is plenty of…read morefree parking attached to the centre. There is a wide range of activities available to use within the centre including swimming and parties etc. We often visit for the swimming and find the facilities to be good. The pools are heated well and you have free use of the water slides at certain times. The prices for swimming are higher than other areas but the atmosphere and staff aid the high price by making us feel welcome. The changing rooms could be a bit cleaner at busy times but we always let the staff know when they need a touch up.

We've watched the tv programme where the owners rescue monkeys and apes from accross the world and bring them back to live in sanctuary. Which is most definately a very worth while cause. Any profits made at the centre are used to help the animals that live here and that they save. So after seeing the wonderful work they do and having a camping holiday in that neck of the woods, we couldn't resist a trip. Im glad I have a digital camera as its a photographers dream to capture all these beautiful animals. I'd definately go back. My family and I had a fantastic day and its a day out not to be missed.

It was brilliant walking around and seeing what the dedication and passion a few people can achieve. Almost all of the animals seem to have a whole new lease of life, or at least a settled existance for the older ones. Would definatley go back again as the plan for further expansion and conservation looked very exciting and intriguing
