The first price is low balled but then at payment time, a bunch of "extras" are tacked on that should have been included in the initial estimate or prices increased from the first estimate with no explanation. Most folks are amazed at what powder coating looks like, but are not familiar with the type of quality you should get from this process - it should be immaculate, like the smooth, consistent paint on a brand new car. That's not what we got. Our results were terrible quality - you can see pitting and valleys - this is just poor workmanship and lack of attention to detail. Roger is a great salesman about their quality control process but it's just talk - you can see the results for yourself. Also note, this business doesn't think that communication about changes to pricing, timing or anything else is part of their responsibility. We had several radiators each labeled when they arrived and American Dry Coating & Sandblasting mislabeled them, causing our movers to carry 600 lbs radiators up and then back down staircases for no reason. Roger's response: "mistakes happen." This all goes to show it is just an unprofessional business. There are other businesses that do this type of work, others who actually take pride in their quality and customer satisfaction.

I told them I was in no rush and they were easily able to get my stuff done in a couple of months. Since I didn't need it till spring we were still in plenty of time. Drop off was easy and they carried off the stuff. Pickup was great as they let me pull my truck indoors and we loaded. They had everything wrapped to keep it safer on the way home. It is hard to separate the stripping from the powder coating so I will leave the same feedback for both. I can say the the color was deep and thick. It looks great.
