In other PT clinics, I was assigned a single specialist. At Radius, I had an entire exceptional crew. They were kind, courteous, knowledgeable, personable yet professional, and incredibly competent. The business model is excellent: you're first assigned a chiropractic doctor who oversees your care and does a body-mind-spirit check-in at every visit. In my case, that was Dr. Austin Van Poole--a highly trained, knowledgeable, and deeply intuitive Doctor of Chiropractic with truly magic hands and a gentle, inquisitive nature. After a hands-on assessment in his office, he would take me out to the floor and hand me off to Eric and Nick, a couple of fun-loving health enthusiasts you can't help but like (and even admire). The three of them would have a quick discussion about my progress, and Dr. Van Poole would direct them on whether to focus on stretching, strengthening, or soothing, depending on where I was in my recovery. These guys are hands-on in the trenches--pushing you when you need it and giving you hope when you've lost it. Even the receptionist doubles as a cheerleader. You really couldn't be in better hands. When I first arrived at Radius, right after my third surgery, I was a mess: in constant pain, with severely limited range of motion and a miserable attitude. The road to recovery was long, with days of despair where I thought I'd never feel whole again. But where others had fallen short, this team guided me through the hardest parts and brought me back far beyond what I had hoped for. Dr. Haley Anderson has been brilliant in her course of treatment. She can massage the delicate shoulder muscles painlessly! Exercises have been easy to follow, and once used at home, show marked progress. I'm amazed how the flexibility and usefulness are returning. Body Logic has an excellent reputation in our community. I think the key to success is to schedule early (they're busy) and do those exercises at home!

I only went twice and not only was it a waste of time, the PT which I will not name, couldn't figure out what was wrong with my knee but did give me exercises to complete during PT and the same at home which completely aggravated my knee and made the pain much worse. Even after calling the PT after the first visit with my concern of increased pain, I returned the second time without much, if any, change to what was done the first time. Luckily, I found a great PT in Nevada City and was diagnosed correctly on my first visit and given excellent care that has resolved the issue.

I recently had a work related injury and am presently going to them. Initially when I finally got…read moreapproved for Physical Therapy (PT), I went to schedule an appt at "Another" PT place in Oroville. They were booked for over a week. With this, I thought if they are that booked, when will they fit Me in their schedule? So I was able to make an appt. here sooner, and so glad I did. In 2 sessions, my injury has been the best since the late May injury! I had done multiple things to try to heal thyself but progress slow. I really feel I have a jump start on healing with the ultrasound they used, manual massage and exercises the PT provided for me to do. I will keep up with my homework and looking forward to the future sessions to literally get me back on my feet to walk, and hike like I had prior to my injury. The PT was thorough with examination, open minded of the work I have done on my own to heal, and super with therapy. I am so happy I found Pillsbury to help heal my injury! They are wonderful! BRAVO!
