The signage into the building is one-sided political, but doesn't bother me one bit, as long as they know how to cut hair. Both times I got a cut by Gary. He does a very decent, straight-forward haircut at a very fair price. I was in a bind the first time and he fit me right in. And despite the signs, he engages in pleasant conversation and keeps politics out of it. I live in Freedom, NH and I'm willing to drive to Wolfboro for my haircut from now on.

I was sad when she moved to NH but after months of unsatisfying haircuts, I traveled up for a cut. Nobody has ever given me such a great haircut. Even my crazy curly hair just lies perfectly with just my fingers after she cuts it. Not to mention she is one of the nicest people you will meet and is super attentive to what you want to do with your hair. Gail is awesome and truly a master at her craft. Get a cut, you won't be disappointed.

I'm in NH on vacation and needed a haircut before going back to work on Monday. I searched around on the internet, and found this Turnage place in Plymouth had two positive reviews on Google, and I happened to be driving through Plymouth today to go visit some relatives, so I went to give them a shot. My only complaint is they're a little on the slow side, but quality takes time. When I arrived about 1:15 p.m., there were two customers in the barber chairs having their hair cut, and two other guys sitting in the waiting area. I waited 30 minutes for my turn, and then it took 25 minutes for my haircut. Joe did an excellent job. He gave me exactly the haircut I wanted and paid superb attention to detail. After the haircut, he put the warm shaving cream around my ears and neck and used the straight razor to get at those little hairs around my ears and back of my neck. Then he did the warm-towel thing to clean off the shaving cream. To finish it all off, he ran the vacuum hose across the top of my head to suck up the bits and pieces of loose hair. All that for a very reasonable price of $14. I was very pleased with the quality of service I received for that price. Turnage is top notch and I highly recommend it for anyone else looking for a barber around this neck of the woods.
