The dental hygienist was thorough and very nice. When I was finished and went to the front desk to pay for the fluoride part of my treatment not covered by my insurance, I ran into a problem with my payflex card that I had to spend nearly a half hour over the phone to resolve, which as it turns out, was that I had mistakenly kept an expired card instead of the current one. The nice ladies at the front desk were very understanding as I realized my blunder, which will now be resolved with a new card being sent to me that I can then pay my bill with once I get it. It was appreciated that the ladies at the front desk were understanding while I was on the phone all that time seeking a resolution. I live over a half hour away from Parkview Family Dentistry, but I continue to go there happily, not just because of their professionalism, but also because I greatly appreciate that a few years ago, they opened up an appointment slot for 7:00AM on Wednesdays for patients whose schedules would make that a much more convenient time, as it is with me since I work third shift. In today's day and age, great customer service is important, and this is how to do it right.

He was thrilled to get a "Sadler" chap-stick after his X-rays ; he was actually speaking so much during the appointment, I had to do a few double takes. Lol He is getting his braces this week, he's excited for the entire experience. I was referred by a friend, and could not be more pleased with the care I received. Dr. Ploeger is tuned in to her patients, and ALL of their needs. (they even brought me a warm blanket!!!) I had several missing and broken teeth, with a bridge that could not be repaired. (Front teeth, no less). They got me fixed up for far less than any other dentist (4) had quoted my by thousands of dollars! I was terrified when I stepped into Dr. Knotek's office, but the staff were VERY friendly and made me feel so comfortable. They explained everything to me, no surprises whatsoever. Betty was the dental hygienist that cleaned part of my teeth, followed by Meagan and they are both gentle and friendly. They both assured me that they will make the cleaning as painless as possible, and they absolutely did. Dr. Knotek checked my teeth at the end and the beginning and gave advice and answered all my questions. She really cares about her patients and I appreciate that. Kerry at the front desk is awesome and I enjoyed my experience at this dental office. Really clean office and everyone has always been nice to me there. If they take your insurance you should definitely check him out. He really makes you feel at ease, can give you gas for a procedure, and will take all the time needed to make sure you are numb.
