I went in for an Ultimate Wash on 11/2/24 and towards the end of the wash I felt an impact to the rear of my car. When I dried it I saw the damage and went in to talk to a manager, just to say hey, I know you probably won't accept responsibility but something happened during the wash. They went out, took a look and made it seem like the damage didn't happen there because there are some scratches on both sides of my vehicle. I told them I'm aware of everything that's on my car, I drive it daily & spent the morning cleaning it out so I would have seen that damage if it had been there. Then they said it's a soft touch car wash & the only way something could have happen is if I turned the steering wheel, which I didn't do. I've been going here for years but today was it for me. I don't need to do business with a place that's so dismissive of its customers. I filled out an incident report but have little to no expectations for follow up based on their reaction. read more

I have never had a problem there. One time one of the workers failed to push the mirror in on the passenger side and it was damaged! I spoke with the owner filled out an incident report got an estimate from Nissan and was paid immediately. No issues at all. Used their detailing services many times. Staff always pleasant and kind. The only reason I won't be using them as much anymore is because I am a very loyal to those who are loyal to me. I was in need of help with my new car that got glue spilled on it, I came first here and asked if they could get it out with a detail. Without even looking at it the young man replied no. I've been coming here since they opened. Their quality has been going down. But nonetheless, I didn't have huge complaints. Yesterday 10/18/24 was the last time I will have my car "cleaned" here. I came in was yelled at by an employee as soon as I pulled up! The person who greets you when you enter the carwash not only yelled at me for not putting my car in neutral fast enough but also didn't rinse my car before the wash like they normally do. And then the person who "detailed" my car left it worse than when I came. My windows and windshield were so dirty I had to come back to get them cleaned. Well when I came back the person who detailed my car didn't even acknowledge the issue. He was RUDE and said "he had nothing to do with that". Another person came and began helping me. Whatever he put on my car windshield wasn't coming off! They didn't even work on it for long and the manger made me fill out this incident report form. He also said to come back the next day to talk to the owner. I informed I might not be able to come the next day and he said the manager would contact me (right.) Well in the end I went home and was able to remove their mistake as best as possible. The windows and windshield took hours to clean. I don't know what product he used because it wasn't easy to get rid of. I won't be back. No refund or any type of compensation. Rudeness and gaslighting me saying it won't come off when I got it off. Skip this place $40 isn't worth it when you're treated like this. Also the detailing is express and I get that. They will work longer on your car if you tip them beforehand. I get it but the owner should pay them more so customers aren't skimped out. I don't mind tipping either! I've always tipped everyone there well. But never has anyone messed my car up and then snap on me about it. Disappointing. read more

Visited for the first time today. Very unimpressed. I wanted a wax and that is only possible with the ultimate wash package (which is $19). I declined paying the extra $20+ for detailing. My car came out just OK. The tire shine was very much lacking in shine, and it didn't look like the tires were washed at all. The body of the car didn't look too clean either; I could still see finger smudges and even a thin cobweb. The wax was also very underwhelming. To their credit, they allowed me to go through the wash a second time. My car came out slightly cleaner and the tires (at least for a few minutes) actually looked like they had tire shine on it. Interestingly though, the tires went back to looking dull after a few minutes outside. I suspect that they use cheaper products or a smaller amount of product in the automated wash, then make their money and use more product in the detailing room. On a positive note, the free vacuums that come with each wash are very powerful and effective. I only wish they had an option for a slimmer sized vacuum attachment to get in-between smaller crevices in the car. Overall, I don't think the wash I received was worth $19, and I probably won't return. read more

This place has only been around for a year and half or so, but the quality and efficiency it's run with make it seem like it's been forever. The automated wash does a decent job, and the vacuums are free, but occasionally, pay the extra 10 bucks for the express detail. It's worth it. They'll wash your floor mats, clean the interior windows, vacuum, and throw some armor all on the trim. All that for a grand total of $26.... Oh, and don't forget to tip the kids doing this work. Use at your risk.  Not an HONEST business.  Paid for a wash and detail, gate opened but machine did not print receipt.  Proceed to to the wash no attendant present, wash started but car did not move, attendant came out said that the wash already started and to go through without a wash and return to start the process again and he will open the gate.  After waiting at the gate for five minutes attendant came out said manager was out and couldn't run the wash.  Waited for manager for 45 minutes, never showed up.  Asked for refund and denied it because I did not had a receipt, even after I showed him the charge on my phone.   I will dispute the charge but without a receipt I don't know. I brought my truck here to get washed & detailed; It's a regular drive through car was with all the bells, whistles and flashy lights. Actually what keeps me coming back is how All of the employees were very friendly. The waiting area was very inviting, welcoming, clean, they offered hot coffee and tea stations, free WiFi, there were more than enough outlets if needed to charge your electronics while waiting and it's kid friendly with a toy area. The Gentleman that worked on my truck was Aaron he was polite & friendly he did a superb detailing job inside and out on my truck EVEN the 3rd row where my very active & very busy 5yr Old GrandTWINS love to sit; it was completely spotless!!! read more

The quality of thier work when they first opened was the best. Now it is poor. When busy they simply stop offering the detail option. I have had to pull out if a line of cars to simply leave because you won't know until you get to the payment kiosk. When they are slow it is crazy. One person working and all the others sitting around on the phone. Literally, no cars in front of me or behind me at the wash and do you think they took the thirty seconds to power wash off the bugs on the grill or hit the massively dirty wheel wells on my F250? Nope! With thier detail or washes they do not bleach the wheels to get all the grease and oil off the tires and bring out the white lettering if you have them. I also had them fail to put my passenger floor mat back in. I came back a few days later and told them. They went to the office and pulled out a frigging stack of car floor mats to find mine! What, are you serious? I have since lost my full size rear mat (I keep it under a rubber matt so I did not see it, same for the front) so it is now gone forever. Lastly, the last drying wheel in the automated process left my windshield (and I am guessing my paint also) covered with a greasy film. I wish I could post pics. Prices Corner is not so far away. I used to use New Castle Auto Spa on a consistent bases for my personal car, families personal cars, and my business vehicles.....Until I was unable to buy a detail due to high traffic (which was not a problem). I parked my car after getting a Deluxe wash, went inside to find out if I could wait for the next slot to open up, only to be confronted by the owner, or manager, in a very threatening and disrespectful way about the Detailing being closed. Visually seeing two empty slots at the very front, I told him there was no problem with me waiting for the detailers to catch up! He continued to yell at me about how "It DONT work like that". So for him to think he can even talk to a paying customer that way is bad for business and shows that he has no idea what customer service is. On this day I ONLY came for the Detailing of my girlfriends car and wasted $16 for a purposeless wash. The New Castle Auto Spa will never again see a dime from me, my family, or my transportation business! And I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else again! read more

This was my first visit to Newcastle auto spa and I definitely will return. The pricing is very reasonable and I paid an extra 30 for the express detailing. The inside of my car was quite dirty because I have been lacking in taking care of it. Kyle was my detailer and he did a great job. He was very polite and courteous and he took time to make sure he knew my name. It took him about 30 minutes to complete the detail and when he was finished the inside of my car looked like it did when it came off the Dealership lot. Thank you Kyle!! read more

This place has really fallen off. I've been coming here since the first opened. Actually my entire family has. I live in N. Wilmington and I pass 2 full-service car washes just to come here because the service was so good... Well not today. I came to get my routine full service and detail, but was denied a detail because they were short staffed... I understand it's COVID and things are difficult now, but the manager was rude. The least he could do was offer me an appointment another day. What really infuriated me was to see 2 car allowed to get the full detail seconds after I finished vacuuming the inside of my car myself. When I told him I won't be back, he shrugged his shoulders. If my money doesn't matter they so be it.... By the looks of the some of other reviews this is their new business practice. It's a shame, they had something nice. read more

Disappointing about sums my experience up. Two stars because the actual car wash was good and the ambiance was wonderful. Paid for the $24 service which included and express detail. Express it was, Windows still dirty, console and parts of the dash untouched. Coffee stain still on the arm rest. All of it wouldn't have been so horrible if the customer service wasn't shitty. The young men looked at me like I was crazy for pointing out the unclean dash, windows, console, and seats. Then still failed to clean it. If I can see the dust why can't a trained detailer. Beautiful facility inside and out, the price is 100% worth what they charge. I would highly recommend adding the express detail option. Their detail station is immaculate, and for $12 two detailers clean all of the interior surfaces, windows and all. I was caught off-guard by how beautiful the waiting area was 100% cleaner and more accommodating then than any of the motels in the area!! It's very spacious with a big flat screen TV, seating area with windows so you can see your car and complimentary refreshments. I would recommend them for anyone looking for a quality car wash in the area. read more

In general this is a good car wash. I've used it several times. I'm going on a long trip tomorrow and wanted to get the car detailed. They had a sign in front of the kiosk that said .....due to labor shortages, the detail dept was only available till 3:00 pm. .... This was 2:18 pm. I paid for the ultimate wash and asked the attendant about the detail. He checked with someone in the office and said that it was closed. However, there were people in the detail area. I got my wash and decided to check for myself since it wasn't 3:00 yet. The manager who came out was extremely rude to me and told me the sign said that detail was closed. That is not what the sign said. Although this car wash is convenient, and does a good job, I'll be looking for another car wash where the management is more courteous. While they worked hard on removing dog hair from my back seats, the interior still had coffee spill spots on the console. WORST PART, they put my backseat mats in the front and vice versa. I had to slam my brakes in able to stop as it was jammed under the brake pedal. The interior of the facility is comfortable and clean. Had they not almost killed me, I would have overlooked the missed spots. read more

I've been washing my car here since 2019. Some times the car was washed properly. However on other days, it wasn't washed properly and the manager let me go through the wash again as a courtesy. However, lately their service has been lacking. When you get the express detail done, the detailers will miss spots in the interior cleaning of the car. It's a complete waste of money. Also recently, their car wash machines have scratched my car more than twice and I told one of the guys that works here, he told me it was not their machine and that it was boxes placed on the car. Aside from the car wash machine not washing the car properly, it left additional scratches on the car. I cancelled my car wash membership and they couldn't give me a partial refund of my money. The manager said I can still go through the car wash up to 30 days, but they can't provide a refund. Why would I want to go the car wash again after it scratched my car? I am dissatisfied with the turnout of things, hence the review. I won't recommend anyone to wash their car here. read more

The worst wash we've ever had. Guy tells us it's ready so we give him a $4 tip and walk to the car. The dashboard has not been touched. The back of both mirrors still have all the bug crap they had when we arrived. The front seats had crumbs or something on them. The inside of the windshield hasn't been done. There was more wrong. I put my phone in the little cubby and it's soaking wet! it's feels like wax. I had a job cleaning it off. We finally got someones attention to help us, it wasn't easy, and another guy came and finished the car. He did a decent job but we were there for a very long time. They need to get rid of the guy that doesn't do the work. read more

After paying $30 I didn't get my receipt (not sure if one ever printed) I went through the car wash then into the detailing area. While an employee was detailing my car Damien (manager) stormed over and stood over me while he was yelling at me and accusing me of not paying for the detailing service. I told him I paid and showed him a notification from my bank that I had just spent $30. He looked at it, accepting it as proof and said okay. I then asked him why he was yelling at me and of course he lowered his voice just a bit and said he wasn't yelling. He walked away and yelled again, for the third time, at the young man who I had originally showed proof of purchase. I was unhappy with the way he was treating the young man and myself so I asked the detail to be stopped so I could leave. I backed out of the detail area, gave the employee that was taking care of my car a $5 tip and I left with a very partial detail. I take two cars here for cleaning and while the employees do a great job, I am extremely unhappy with the manager's behavior. read more

Yesterday was my first time at New Castle Auto Spa. I usually wash my car myself but hadnt had time the past few weeks. I bought the Ultimate Wash with Detailing and my car came out showroom clean. Justin and Ebony did a fantastic job! Justin greeted me and, when I told him it was my first time there, he kindly and patiently explained the process. He was pleasant and professional and clearly takes pride in his work. The waiting area is comfortable and welcoming. I will definitely go back and told my husband and daughter they should take their cars there too. Best experience at a car wash ever! read more
