In the mood for some reflexology, I did much research, and decided to try Best AcuCare. While the place is no-frills, and is a set-up of chairs (for foot work) and different screens that section off cubicles for back massages, etc., they get the job done well. The staff is wonderful & pleasant--- the prices are beyond reasonable $1.00 per minute, and they are very accommodating. If you are looking for a spa with coffee service, private rooms, and 5 star amenities, you're looking in the wrong spot. If you're looking for an efficient, clean, well-managed, and trained staff; this is your place. My reflexology appointment of 45 minutes was fantastic- relaxing, soothing, and done well. There were many people who walked in on lunch-breaks or on their way places to work out kinks, knots, or to just relax. I would certainly come here again read more

Giving one star because I didn't even get the massage I was supposed to get. They brought me to a room and I was ready to go. The lady comes in and says someone had priority over me. I understand if you're booked. Then just say that. Don't have me derobed in a room hoping to get som relief from my thrown out back only to tell me to leave. Terrible service and business practice. read more

My lower back and neck have been a mess for weeks. A 60 minute appointment was all I needed to melt my muscle tension away. Do yourself a favor and stop by this gem. Hard working masseuses who have magic hands will ease your weary bones. Better than those chain joints! read more

I had back pain and friends referred me there. It turned out the staff, wendy is very friendly and professional. After her full body massage ,I felt my back less painful and I did 5 times afterwards,my back pain went away. I really recommend everyone should try there and get laxation and pain relief. read more

If you like the set up, atmosphere, floofiness, and employees of a typical chain massage places, this may not be for you, but give this place a try. Just like any kind of therapy place where someone will be touching you, you need to clearly communicate if their touch is too harsh, too hard, too soft, if something particular hurts, or if you have a certain issue. It is always a good idea to leave all your jewelry at home or put it in your car's cup holder before going in and if you are going for a full body massage, your face is part of your body. If you don't want your face done because of make up or what ever, you need to clearly communicate that. Sometimes twice as English is not the women's primary language. Even my hair winds up with oil in it, therefore I plan massages for when I'm heading home to shower anyway. They have 1 location in Bensalem and a few sister locations in DelCo (these are not called Best Acucare). Jin is the acupuncturist and works out of Bensalem and Springfield. He also now takes insurance for accupuncture only (not massages). All the massage therapists are women and they do not use the same techniques. When I first started going to this location it was hit or miss with the therapist until I figured out the trick. Get the name of your massage therapist. If you felt she helped you, you know who to ask for the next time. If you didn't like her, when you call the next time, ask who is working and pick the other name. Do this until you have 1-2 girls who help your issues. They don't all use the same techniques, so keep trying them. Best Acucare does take walk ins, but you are way better off calling ahead of time and making an appointment. They have a punch card, so be sure to ask for one after your visit. Your 11th massage is free. They'll add up all the times on your card and average out how much free time you get for that 11th massage. There are no private rooms, but there are privacy screens to break up each room. This means your massage is not totally quiet. Usually it is pretty quiet; usually the other people coming in for services are respectful and keep their voices down and conversing to a minimum. However several times there has been excessive and loud conversations from people waiting. The staff (maybe because of their culture?) won't tell the people to shush. A few times I announced to those people that they aren't the only ones in the place and to please be respectful and quiet. It worked each time. You get a full massage for what you are paying. At a chain place, you pay for an hour but your actual massage is only 45 minutes. At Best Acucare, the 60 minute (or what ever you chose) is started when your massage starts. At chain places, you get a feel good massage and the massage is the same each time. At Best Acucare you get a massage that is different each time because your issues are different each time and the massage is therapeutic, not feel good. Another tidbit for the women who find being on your stomach uncomfortable..... ask for 2-4 washcloths (depending on your size) rolled up together and place that between your breasts. It helps out lots. read more

Decided to try this place for a one hr massage based on the good reviews. The lady who did my massage was very rough and abrasive. So much that she broke the chain of my necklace off my neck. I was also not expecting a face massage but she put some kind of lotion on my face and started to massage which lead to her erasing all my eye makeup and any cream I had on. After the massage ended and I went to pay at the cashier , she followed me out and stood there next to the cashier watching me pay and sign receipt... Which made me feel very awkward read more

"Consistently Inconsistent" "Best Acucare" is a fully legit Asian massage place that is consistently inconsistent. I will touch on the "general business stuff" first. They take walk-ins though I would recommend an appointment. They are fairly priced though on the higher side average. The going rate for the Asian massage places in Bucks county/Philly seems to be $45-$60 per hour. I have certainly checked into this and can quote these prices with some authority. Perhaps they have a bit more overhead then the typical places. They have a decent size space for this type of establishment and have what is at least macroscopically a clean facility. Anyway... I have been there a total of five times, the first time was fantastic, she literally fixed my "carpel tunnel" or whatever it is I've got going on. I drive, text and fly planes (fortunately not at the same time) so I find myself gripping something in the same position for long periods of time daily. After my massage I had none of the tingling in my fingers that has plagued (and concerned me) recently, this lasted for approximately five weeks after the session. My masseuse was pretty much a natural "healer", I was truly impressed. It was probably the best $60.00 I had ever spent on anything healthcare related in my entire 38 years. Not bad. The second visit was pretty much the worst massage I ever had (or tied for first). She put the oil on my back (a lot of it) and with opened hands moved it around my back with the same motion that you would use to mix around Scrabble tiles on a table, this went on for like 30% of the time. The rest was just a substandard back rub, I was very disappointed. I decided to go back a third time though because of how great my first session was. After speaking to the manager who is also one of two acupuncturists on staff. I was assured I would have at the very least a different experience via an other masseuse. It turned out to be about as good as the first time, just a really good relaxing massage, I certainly saw value in the services. Fourth trip was the same employee as the third (I wish I remembered their names). With regards to the fifth time, it was so bad I literally felt bad for the woman who was "massaging" me. I really don't want to "slam' them but she really was not ready to work with customers yet. Clumsy, nervous and a total rookie. Though the manager said she has been doing it "for a while" I have a feeling "while" may have literally been lost in translation or a total exaggeration. I realize that everyone has to start sometime but the young woman who was working on me was either not ready or has not found her calling in life as of yet. I have a feeling a bit of both. I really hate having to say that because they seem very nice, but if you are going to charge money for anything especially $60/hour you have to put out a quality product. My personal verdict: I *may go back but not for a while. Since, according to the manager, the woman who worked on me the first time recently left the "Best Acucare" family (the other decent masseuse who worked on me is still there) they seem to be in a rebuilding phase, I can only hope for there sake that they are aware of it. I tried to let the manager know when I paid, though I'm not sure if he was interested, it was somewhat plausible that he may not have understood due to the language barrier. This was compounded by the fact that I was trying to be discreet because of the presence of other customers, hence benefit of the doubt is applied. I sure hope they turn it around. My best advice would be to just ask for an "experienced masseuse", I think that at this point you have a 50% chance of a decent to very good massage which is probably the average for this type of place at that price point anyway. -KS read more

I have been going to Best Acucare for the past month for severe carpal tunnel. In saying that, I can't speak for a quiet, relaxing massage. I have gone in with pain and have bit my lip and shed some tears as Sofia has worked on my inflamed hand and forearm. But, truth be told, it has really helped relieve my constant numbness in my hand. She has used a variety of techniques, including some pressure, hot stones, warm towels, and these large suction cups to help increase circulation. I am really grateful to Sofia. Inside is very clean and separated by shoji screens. They have an acupuncturist come in twice a week but I can't vouch for them. They are listed as acupressure though I would argue that it is more massage than acupressure. The prices are reasonable. I'd recommend stopping in once to see what it's like. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I both had an appointment for today at 11am. We arrived a few minutes early figuring we would have to fill out the paperwork. When we walked in I was somewhat uncomfortable with the atmosphere since I am used to quiet private rooms but figured I would give it a shot. The woman walked up to the front extremely confused that we came in together. I proceeded to show her the email confirmation of our appointments. She then made a phone call and said quite a few things that I could not understand. Turns out the person that my appointment was with would not be arriving for at least an hour or so. The woman said she would take one of us. In the end we walked out and will be sure to stick with Handled With Care for our massage needs. 50 for an hour there. It is extremely professional as well. read more

Wonderful acupuncture experience! I met with acupuncturist Jin Bai to get help with neck and back pain, as well as anxiety. He was great. Since I had never had acupuncture before, I was very nervous. He explained everything to me as he worked. And I saw results right away. The space is clean and there are dividers for privacy. Jin Bai is clearly very knowledgeable in his practice. I have seen him twice and plan to come regularly. read more

I go here pretty regularly. About every 2-4 weeks. I think that the price is good and they do good work. They typically don't ask what you want them to focus on so I will remind them that I have back and neck kinks and pain. The last time I was there, I walked in feeling like my back was in knots which I explained to the masseuse. She worked on parts of my back with very strong pressure that hurt but it was exactly what I needed. I walked out 30 minutes later feeling like I had been "reset". read more

Located in a shopping center so it was easy parking. All the rooms are separated by room dividers - I was ok with this, but if you prefer complete silence this might not work for you. Initially I was going to get a 30 min massage but wound up getting an hour with hot stones- it was worth it. I definitely recommend this place. I will be going back for sure and hope to try their other treatments, cupping and acupuncture. read more

I had a 30 minute foot massage and a 60 minute Swedish massage. I didn't know what to expect but I am thrilled with their services.
