Then I called Pro356 Marine and got a very reasonable quote with excellent advice on the best kind of Bottom paint for our local waters. I took a chance and found that they are very experienced and do excellent quality work -- not only bottom painting, but also topsides painting and custom fabrication. I was very pleased with the end result when I picked up my boat. In talking to Keith the owner, I discovered he is able to do some custom work on another boat I own. After seeing examples of other jobs they have done, I'll definitely be using their services in the future. I highly recommend this company! Jim Fairfield Harbour Resident

Darrell performed some basic maintenance on the engine that had been sitting for a while. He took the time to explain what he was doing and how to do basic tasks (oil changes, check transmission fluid, bleed the fuel system). After Darrell left a few dock neighbors came over and told me what a good mechanic he was. I completely agree. Darrell did what was needed, did not try to upsell. The invoice was very fair. I highly recommend Foster's Mobile Marine Service.

Upon calling him many times after trying to see if he can give me a rough estimate on the repair costs for insurance, he said that I would need to drop off my boat at their property and pay for an inspection, but I was told that the $100 home visit would cover a rough estimate on engine replacement and labor. I lost my money and now it seems fishy that they keep insisting I drop off my boat at their shop. I bet many have lost their boats to these people, seems to be they place liens and such. I will file a suit with the small claims court as their business practices are criminal.

After i hired another mechanic, he found the issue to be something unrelated to what Randy suggested, and also confirmed that the fuel pumps were not replaced. Randy is a scammer. Don't hire him. We took it to Craven Outboard to have the oil changed and to get it ready for the season,560.00. We literally finished waxing it minutes before leaving to take it to them. There was absolutely ZERO damage to our boat. We have had it since 2017 and it looks like new. We picked it up 2 days later and when we got it home to get it ready to drop into the water, we saw a bad fiberglass damage to the engine cover and called immediately to report the damage. He denied having anything to do with it and went so far in his denial that he said the power pole was too close to the engine. It has been in the same place since we bought it new and we have never had any problems. He went so far as to say that he saw the damage but forgot to say anything to us because he assumed we knew. Why would we launch our boat into the water with a hole in the engine cover? We have both been nurses for over 40 yrs and we are honest and forthright with how we treat people. James, however, is not a good honest person. He lacks the integrity to just admit he made a mistake and take accountability for those mistakes. If you take your boat to him, you are putting yourself in a situation that will put you and your boat in jeopardy due to the fact that it is his word against yours.
