As soon as the credit comes through I will change my review to a more positive one, but right now a bad massage and very bad follow through from the manager's accounting department-is what I received. I will update the review as soon as the credit comes through. Note The actual credit has not received on my credit card yet: 9/15: I received two messages today from the spa manager when I returned home who was VERY apologetic and very kindly offered me to come back for another therapist or a refund. I thought this was *very * professional. Unfortunately I left Nice after the spa so can only take the refund . I'm not sure about the comment that I should have stopped the massage and they would have had someone else do the massage as with hundreds of massages I've never had an experience like this and didn't know *I* was wrong in stopping and giving the therapist direction multiple times but was instead supposed to ask the therapist to go get me a new therapist. Simply taking direction would have sufficed. But again, I was very impressed with the manager's two voicemail messages and offer to correct the situation by a new massage or refund. This was definitely in line with the quality I had expected.

Do not go here for waxing (epilation) - especially bikini waxing. It was the worst bikini wax of…read moremy life and I've had many. The biggest offense is that it's not sanitary! I thought perhaps everyone gets their own new pot of wax, but NO - They dip the same metal tool in the wax and apply it to you over and over - who knows how many people have used that same wax. It doesn't matter what the rules or health code is in France, it's just not sanitary and shows they don't respect their clients' health and safety. Before I could say no, she also spread some sort of cream on afterward that burned and made my skin very red. Any true professional knows lotions/creams are terrible after waxing. The esthetician was friendly and fast, but that was the only positive. I regret not speaking up and just refusing to get waxed once I saw she was going to double dip. I hope this helps someone else in the future. And I hope the spa changes their policies - use the wooden sticks one time only and throw out after each application! That is the only sanitary way.

I was badly in need of a manicure after traveling for a couple weeks and this place was right next…read moredoor to the hotel I was staying, so I stopped in to schedule an appointment. There is a couple of women who work there that speak English, which is a necessity for me, since my French is limited to saying Bonjour and Merci. They specialize in skin care, but provide a great manicure that lasted a bit longer than my manicures typically last. They had a nice selection of OPI colors to choose from, and note that not all of their colors are displayed on the shelves. I would totally recommend this place if you find yourself in Nice needing a mani or a pedi. I'm sure they do a good facial also.

Ana provided outstanding customer service! Thanks Ana!!…read more Located right at the base of Ezé village lies Fragonard, one of the utmost respected parfumeries in the region. Loads of choices -perfumes, eau de toilettes, soaps, lotions, and more! We purchased a perfume, and a couple of eau de toilettes, all of which were wonderful, and reasonably priced. I really like how they sell large "bulk" versions of some of their Eau de toilets. I ended up picking up a reasonably priced bulk bottle for about ~80 Euro, and then purchased a small spray bottle for about 10 Euro. If you do buy their spray bottle, just know that the inner bottle opening is small, so you may need to use a funnel to fill it without spilling. We loved Fragonard so much, we ended up shopping at the Nice Airport store as well. Prices at the airport were the same as in-store, which is great. Thanks again to Ana for answering all of our questions and providing excellent service. Also, thank you for the samples!!! If you're coming to Ezé, be sure to stop by. Really enjoyed my time here. The person giving us the tour was really lovely and really went in…read moredepth about the history and the process of perfume making. The tour is around 30 minutes and they end the tour in the gift shop where they have a huge selection of fragrances, lotions, soaps, etc. Their prices are a bit elevated but they do offer good deals if you buy different sets. It is so hard to select any perfume since they all smell so good. The employees are all super helpful in trying to narrow down scents and make the selection process a little easier. The perfumery is also located on a beautiful mountain with the most amazing view of France which makes for beautiful pictures.
