This branch of New Balance is quite a poor, small store and is located on Avinguda del Portal de l'Àngel in Barcelona alongside a row of other shops including Mango. While waiting for a phone call from Virgin Trains in regards to sorting my transport out to Wembley the following weekend to my arrival back at home from Barcelona, I came in this store to move away from the business and the noise of the street, before eventually having a walk around.
I've rarely seen stand alone New Balance stores in the UK, so thought I'd have a look in as for me this was unusual and New Balance are rumoured to be taking over from Nike after this season, in making Manchester City's kits.
Moving back onto the regular review - The staff here didn't seem too welcoming nor friendly, and the store its self was quite poor with a small selection and sadly most of the selection simply wasn't worth looking at twice and I'm begining to think the only good thing about this store was the uniqueness of it, one of two New Balance stores in Barcelona however with the other branch being considerably larger, over multiple floors.
To summarize, there isn't much else I can comment on for this store, mainly down to my brief visit and the fact it was about two months ago now since I visited, but still sadly this is a poor, small store, sadly only worthy of a single one star. read more
