After working with this contractor multiple times and referring customers to them, I hired the…read morecompany for a bathroom remodel based on another contractor's quote, which they agreed to match. Due to a family emergency, the project needed to begin with urgency. Over the course of more than a month, there was constant back-and-forth communication, and the shower floor pitch was installed incorrectly twice. I also clearly communicated that my flooring contractor would address the trim. Despite this, I received a text message stating they intended to stop work mid-project, leaving me with a broken and unfinished shower floor. This situation has been extremely frustrating, as I am now forced to find and coordinate a new contractor to fix and complete the work. Please use caution when considering this company. In hindsight, I regret not going with my original contractor.

I had already made a claim with my insurance company (name intentionally withheld). With the estimate in hand, we hired Benjamin Brothers to complete the work and be our representative with our insurance company. I didn't want the headache and they knew what to do. As typical with insurance claims adjusters, they tried to nickel and dime the claim and Lee and Cody fought back to get the repair covered and each piece of damage compensated. Due to the back-and-forth, the job was delayed (weather/seasons) and the insurance tried to not pay the depreciation funds. We fought back again and the funds were finally released. The work was done professionally and when there was a slight issue with the repair, they corrected it immediately. They were responsive to our e-mails and phone calls and helped us through the dealing with our insurance company.

The team was very professional and made sure that all equipment was organized and orderly at the end of each day. We particularly appreciated the care taken to clear the mess made throughout the day. Though siding can be a little noisy, the team did a great job of working efficiently and let us know when they would be on break so our little one could get a nap during the day. They even helped our next door neighbor fix their siding job, even though it was done by a completely different company! We are thrilled with the look of the house and with the work done. We have received many compliments from our neighbors about how the whole project turned out. Definitely check these guys out.

We contracted with Nathaniel to put in all new composite stairs and railings (front and back),…read morereplace some rotted boards under our siding and replace our front door. Weather was an issue but what was more of an issue was that he worked alone and talked on his phone more than he seemed to work. Many people were commenting on how slow he was working. The rot under the siding was fixed well, the stairs were done in the back well, stairs in front my husband felt the support was suspect (means 4x4s were cut short - he made up some excuse that this was his intent) and door window was damaged and cracked. We have tried to contact him on multiple occasions, even going so far as forgetting all the support issues but wanted our door window repaired or replaced. He has ghosted us!! This is unacceptable. We paid him to do a job and didn't hold back any money (our mistake - now he has no reason to call us back). So now our only option is to hire a lawyer to get our door window repaired or replaced because at this point that's all we care about. We didn't pay all that money to have a door that doesn't function properly!

The door frame was no big deal (about 90 minutes' work), but they couldn't figure out to repair our wall using concrete, SO THEY JAMMED A PIECE OF 2x4 INTO THE WALL AND CAULKED THE EDGES. (see attached photo.) I emailed them to complain (no supervisor ever showed up to inspect the 'finished' job) and to request some kind of discount on their ridiculous price, and this is the response I received from their office manager: "I have discussed this with my management team, and after thorough internal review, we have determined that this price accurately reflects the scope of the services provided and resources that we bring to each project." Of course, the contract they make you sign is iron-clad and if we don't cough up the $1200.00 pretty soon they're going to sic all kinds of lawyers after us (at our expense, no less).
