The business had canopies all up and down the Main Street. Each canopy had friendly people handing out candy to the kids and telling the adults about their stores. We loved the holiday event with the festive decorations and live music as your tour the house. There were volunteers in each room talking through the history which was really interesting!

There was musical entertainment and people were making use of the paddleboats in Big Walnut Creek. There were lots of herb plants to choose from, and volunteers assisting. The lines to pay weren't terrible, and using little tablets, the cashiers accepted cash and credit. With Local Cantina so conveniently located, we were able to sit on the patio to eat, enjoy the music, and people-watch. It was a nice time without being overcrowded, and I look forward to next year!

This annual costume contest and pet parade is held at Easton Town Center. There were about 150…read moreparticipants including a cat and guinea pig. Surprisingly all the animals got along and people and pets of all ages had a great time. Being an animal lover this event made my whole trip!!

A very nice little holiday festival in Creekside, in the heart of Gahanna. Loads of things for…read morekids: a train, facepainting, ornament making and other crafts, etc. Performances by the Pinnell Dance School dancers, and I think a band earlier. And Santa and the tree lighting, of course. Lots of vendors, and free samples and other handouts like hot chocolate from the realtors sponsoring it. Many photo ops, fake snowballs for the kids, fake snow machine, and much more. Baby K loved it. I had fun. Plenty of food trucks too, and of course the local restaurants. Mill Street was closed so I'm guessing to get into the garage you'd have to come from the north or east. We parked just across the creek in the park south of 62, and had a very short walk. Definitely coming next year.

This fun 5k run/walk/job and 20 mile bike 'tour' (not race) was on a warm, mid Septmber, Saturday…read moremorning. It was definitely more fun then competitive. After completion, every participant got to enjoy live entertainment, great food (picnic style,burgers, chicken and veggie burgers, salads, chips, fruit, dessert, etc) and beverages after the event. Beverages included kegs of Killians, CBC, Amstel Light, etc. Most of the participants were Abercrombie employees and friends of, which really enhanced the experience. It was like one big team cheering each other on. It was truly a great event that I will be a part of each year forward. All funds raised through the Challenge support the Ohio State University Medical Center's Program for Health.
