This was the park my wife grew up using. She lives near by. My first time here was 35 years ago when I visited her during college. When we visit Connecticut we have to stop and walk the trails. The changes are always amazing. It is also amazing that the OLD tobacco barn is still standing near the new Bark park. First time during fall foliage and it is beautiful.

A beautiful park in the neighborhood. I have been here only during events! A lovely park to walk around or to play in the playground. Abundant space to park your cars during the events. A lot of times the kids will be having a game, practice sessions...

I absolutely love Nevers Park! The playground is terrific for children. There is equipment based on ages and abilities. It's a large playground and there are always families around. Nevers Park also had a dog park section, where you can meet up and take your dogs for a walk. As a non pet owner, I have not taken advantage of this, but all my friends love it. There are athletic fields here as well. The adjacent community center is always open when I've been here so there are clean bathrooms when your kiddie has to go potty.

Playground and splash pad for the kids! More shade and more chairs for the adults would be awesome.

If you're walking from the plaza, you get a beautiful view of the river and trees as you make your way towards the boathouse.I love walking along the CT river no matter the season honestly, you can probably catch me there any time except dreaded January and February. I think the boathouse is so well kept and beautiful. I'd love to catch a boat launch, I'm not sure how I always miss them. I feel like it's the perfect activity for a little summer lunch since they have so many benches and tables. I'm always amazed by how big the park is when there are hella people visiting. The parking lot is huge too for those driving over.
