Whenever something unexpected came up (and in real estate, something always does), she handled it immediately and strategically. She fought for us during negotiations, kept everything on track during escrow, and explained every step in plain English. We never felt lost or unsure about what was happening. Beyond the professionalism, she genuinely cares. You can tell she wants her clients to win, not just close. If you're buying or selling in LA, call Cricket. Period.

We feel confident that we're not missing anything when we have her walking around a property with us, formulating an offer, or coordinating inspections. Even more importantly, she has always respected our priorities and concerns. And she has an aura of calm: even when glitches have come up or we've changed our minds about something, she has taken it in stride. Elizabeth also has an awesome team (shout-out to Nicole and Mariela!) and a great network of service providers, several of whom we're still working with years after she recommended them to us. After interviewing a number of potential agents...it was clear that Elizabeth was the most competent. Her encyclopedic knowledge of the selling process was a great asset as our property was a probate sale which required coordination among the attorneys, escrow, and the probate referee. Additionally, she had a team who resolved the myriad demands of preparing the property for sale, e.g., installing approved smoke alarms, meeting plumbing standards, and arranging the removal of all the excess items left on the property. It is of no surprise that I give Elizabeth Marquart my highest recommendation to be your listing real estate agent.

The amount of work and effort that Justin Bonney of Clear Way Real Estate put into selling our Lake…read moreBalboa home was incredible. The home hadn't been maintained much since we purchased it twelve years earlier. We didn't just need a real estate agent; we needed one with a team of service providers and resources. That's what Justin is. He acted like a general contractor to coordinate his handyman, his plumber and hydrojetter, his air conditioning guy, and his landscaper. My wife and I met these contractors and they were all very happy to do the work on short notice for Justin's clients - for Justin. And they did it based on our budget - a very limited budget. It truly blew us away. The new central A/C they put in to make the home more desirable cost us about $12K less than we had expected. The repairs Justin's team did for us (replacing old French doors with sliders, touch-up painting, replacing bathroom cabinetry and fixtures, repairing broken electrical outlets, adding lighting where needed) cost us about one third the amount quoted to us by independent general contractors. The home was listed in September, the same week mortgage interest rates hit their highest level in several years. Every day, the media was running stories screaming that nobody would be buying a home because of the high prices and interest rates. I heard experts stating, "The market is different now. You will get one offer; not two or three. Don't expect an offer in two weeks; it will take 60-90 days." With Justin's strategy, his guidance, and his network of realtors and clients, we had three offers within two weeks of listing the home. The final sale price was exactly in the middle of the range we were hoping for. Escrow closed in about 20 days. It is clear to me now that not all realtors are the same. Not all realtors have an extensive network and resources. Justin has developed these relationships and he puts them to work for his clients. His efforts far exceeded our expectations.

Buying our first home was a journey filled with excitement, uncertainty, and countless house tours…read more For months, nothing truly felt like home until we walked into Justin's listing. At the time, we didn't have a real estate agent. Justin was hosting the open house as the listing agent, and after meeting him, we asked if he would represent us. From the very beginning, Justin was honest and transparent. He candidly explained that dual representation could sometimes create challenges, and we immediately appreciated his integrity and straightforward approach. Throughout the entire process, Justin understood how much this home meant to us. He was always honest, clear, responsive, and patient, making what could have been a stressful first-time homebuying experience feel seamless. His knowledge of the Valley, strong network of connections, and willingness to guide us through every step gave us the confidence we needed as first-time buyers. What started as a professional relationship quickly became something more. We found not only a trusted realtor for years to come, but also a neighbor who genuinely wanted to help us find our way home. We are incredibly grateful for Justin's guidance, expertise, and kindness. If you're looking for someone who will advocate for you, communicate honestly, and truly care about your experience, we cannot recommend Justin highly enough.

We can't recommend Mario Acosta enough! In our initial transition, we were first-time homebuyers looking for a multi-unit property; we knew next to nothing about the process. Mario was patient and knowledgeable throughout, even with the added pressure of the global pandemic (this was March of 2020). Two years later, we decided to sell and find a single family home. He immediately devised a plan that worked for us and facilitated a deal that we were very satisfied with. When we found our dream home, Mario did everything he could to ensure that our offer was accepted. This was made even more difficult due to the white-hot housing market of Summer 2022 (what can I say, we have a knack for choosing 'interesting' times to buy). He goes the extra mile, is very knowledgeable about estimated repair costs and is unflappably professional, even in the face of complications that jeopardize the deal. Every interaction has left us feeling more confident and cared-for. He interfaced directly with our lender, recommended contractors (who later became our trusted go-to contacts), and followed up with us well after the deal was done. To summarize- whether you're a first-time buyer or experienced, looking for an investment property or your dream home, Mario Acosta is the real estate agent for you! We couldn't imagine using anyone else.

Made it look like on paper like it was a short sale on their home when she actually advised them to stop making payments to their mortgage. Sounds like fraud to me. We were referred to Colleen by a friend. The first time we spoke to her, we knew immediately we had found the right match. As first-time home buyers, we were so appreciative of how patient and knowledgeable Colleen was. She always answered our millions of questions and educated us about what to look for in each home we toured. We were house shopping in the most competitive housing market - during the peak of COVID. Colleen was so wonderful in scheduling us for every appointment and helping us narrow down our search. It took us nearly a full year to finally land our house (after getting outbid on four houses, we got the fifth one!). We joked that she was tired of us after all the endless months of house searching, but never once did we feel pressured by Colleen to put in an offer for a house that we didn't absolutely love. She was always so kind and made sure we that we were always in the driver's seat. There were many long discussions and phone calls (I jokingly called them our counseling sessions) when we hemmed and hawed and despaired about what to do - like I said, first-time home buyers! In addition to what a genuinely wonderful person Colleen is, she is also a BULLDOG and will absolutely fight for you until the end. She has no fear and is a master negotiator. We were so thankful to have her on our side to help us come to amenable solutions for every situation. We always felt like we were her top priority and she was always available via phone or text. We loved Colleen so much after purchasing our home that we used her to purchase an additional townhouse. We have also referred her to friends as well. We whole-heartedly recommend Colleen to everyone - you won't regret it!
