Pixelnomial Studios, based out of Cobourg Ontario has had the pleasure of working with NeuronicWorks for the past year on a proprietary gaming platform. From the very beginning NeuronicWorks displayed professionalism and honesty. Our 2 teams laid down the ground work early for transparency which has lead to an open and collaborative relationship. In the world new tech startups, it is sometimes very difficult to find honest individuals that will actually assist in progressing your company or product. We have encountered so many bottom feeders, and nasty individuals who attach themselves to and try to take advantage of start-ups in this space that it is almost impossible to get your company off the ground. NeuronicWorks is the complete opposite. They understand that they can only benefit when their clients achieve the goals they set out for themselves. They have been such a supportive force for us and the talent of the staff that is on display there is fantastic. They don't focus on problems but on the solutions. The environment they create, when we visit, is electric. Ideas pop out and at no point does anyone ever say "No!". The teams jam it out until we find something that works. There have been ups and downs during the development phase of our project but at no point did NeuronicWorks contribute, in any way, to the stresses of running our small tech company. Quite the opposite. During the most stressful times they have been supportive and accommodating and they have assisted us, even performing tasks and maintaining the momentum of the project, during budget frustrations on our end. In July 2013 contacted Neuronic Works Inc. in North York, to develop a project which was important for my new start up. It involved an automatic dispenser machine for drinks. They requested $26,000 as a global budget including the mechanics, electronics and glass parts, which was ok with me. I needed this finished before end of October. After 2 weeks, contacted them to check on the current status. According to them, everything was right, except a small delay in obtaining some components. They told me at that time that such delays are very common, so no need to worry. I needed to travel to the States. When I came back I requested a review and they informed me that the money will not be enough because a number of electric motors would be more expensive than expected. They requested $32,000, which was a bit tight, but accepted. After two months they called to let me know that their approach resulted in problems as the mechanical part won't fit well, causing leakage. At this point I started to have my doubts and given the deadline was getting close, requested the money back to try re-start the project with someone else. They refused, saying they incurred in costs etc. So I lost the deadline, as well as almost half of the money. They praise themselves about "skills" and "quality", but the only thing they showed is a smile until they got the money. After that, had to cross the fingers. Stay away of that place. read more
