This review is not for the doctor but for the multiple communications with his support team. A…read moredoctor may think this unfair but when your care team is sub par it does reflect negatively on the doctor. Sometimes unknown to them and sometimes because they do not care. I am not sure where it falls in here. I have phoned at least four times in the last few years. I had an acoustic tumor that grew aggressively (not a norm for this type of tumor) into the brain stem. I wanted to get another opinion because I have had 'inconclusive' on the final reads (whether there was additional growth) and I wanted to make sure I did not get into another life-threatening situation (my first surgery was emergency with a 2% chance of survival which I thankfully survived). I would get sent to the voice mail of his nurse at which time I would get a follow up weeks later. Cut to now a few years since I phoned and got the 'inconclusive' read on my last MRI (with and without contrast) but now with a possible sign of growth so, again, I phoned Dr. Kellys' office only to be told he does not deal with Schwannomas. I was never informed of this in prior communications with the office (which is odd). I always stated what type of tumor I had and reports and scans were sent. Then his nurse said she was forwarding my information to another doctor that deals with the aforementioned type of tumor. I never heard from them. Then, maybe three months later (or more) I got a call from someone that did not say their name (just stated Pacific Neurosurgery) and called from a private number. Just to reiterate, this is now 1/3 of a year later. Buyer beware.

I am someone who not only asks a doctor 50 questions but also seeks multiple second opinions. I found Dr. Danny Benmoshe who was a beacon of strength. He immediately took control of the situation. He ensured that I underwent all the necessary tests promptly to prioritize my well-being over any time constraints. He was patient, compassionate, and meticulous in his approach. Dr. Benmoshe didn't prescribe unnecessary medications that could cloud my judgment. Thank you, dear Dr. Danny Benmoshe. You were destined to be a doctor, and I cannot express enough gratitude for your care and the positive impact you've had on my well-being!

This doctor is self righteous, arrogant and condescending. He is dismissive and aggressive. if you can't be crammed neatly into a diagnostic code with a corresponding drug, you are gaslit and treated with disdain for trying to help yourself. Doctors at Cedar Sinai are closed minded and 20 years behind on the current research. They hang on to their dusty, antiquated bureaucracy for dear life because of the money they paid for their precious education and patients suffer the consequences. This is precisely why concierge medicine is on the rise and trust in the old guard is bottoming out. AI is coming for your job sooner than you realize. And with a better bedside manner to boot. Get ready Dr. Benmoshe. Your way of practicing medicine is going extinct and I can't wait for you to reap what you sow. if you would like further details regarding my interactions with this physician, feel free to message me.

I had an appointment today at 11am. I call 10:45 because my televist link wasn't sent. That's when I found out that my appointment was canceled because they did not have the records. I also cannot get an appointment until June because Dr. Martin will be out doing surgeries all of May. How do you run a business like this? I have photos of at least 9 lawsuits by patients families that their loved ones either died or seriously harmed at his hand. I have reported him to the CA Medical Board but everyone is covering up for him, Dr. Death. He operated out of several hospitals but not an employee of these hospitals. He has so many different names, so many different websites, you get the picture. Some of the names are: California Institute of Neuroscience, Inc., California Brain Institute, Inc. Cineuro.org. Also, he goes by several different names. Very sketchy. He even lost the part of my brother's skull during a surgery that he botched, where my brother eventually died. He pretends he is the best in the world, but look out. The problem is most people don't have time to google him or do a deep dive as their loved ones are in the emergency room with brain injuries, that need immediate care. But you can find all this information on Unicourt.com or Trellis.com, that shows you how many people have been injured by his surgery. This needs a below a one star review, it should be a minus one thousand.

At only 26 years old and in the middle of nursing school, I never imagined I would need a craniotomy. Facing brain surgery was one of the most frightening experiences of my life, not only for me but for my entire family. During such an overwhelming time, Dr. Benet gave us something priceless: confidence, trust, and peace of mind. I truly could not have asked for a better surgeon. After my surgery, Dr. Benet personally sat with my family for nearly 30 minutes, carefully explaining everything and answering their questions. With a large family gathered and understandably terrified, his compassion, patience, and confidence reassured every one of us. It was clear that he genuinely cared not only about my outcome but also about the people who love me. The level of skill and care I received was extraordinary. Recovery is different for everyone, but I honestly believe that finding Dr. Benet was one of the greatest blessings in my journey. I woke up after surgery feeling far better than I ever expected, and my recovery has continued to exceed my expectations. Just two and a half weeks later, I am already back in nursing school--exactly as Dr. Benet predicted. That outcome felt impossible when I was first facing surgery, yet here I am because of the exceptional care I received. Thank you, Dr. Benet, for your expertise, your compassion, and for giving me the opportunity to continue pursuing my dreams. I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am. You and your team changed my life, and I will carry that gratitude with me forever. From myself and the entire Puentes family, thank you for giving us comfort during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. We will never forget the exceptional care, kindness, and support you provided. Your impact on our family goes far beyond the operating room, and we will be forever grateful.

From my very first visit, Dr. Benet treated me not just as another patient, but as a human being going through one of the most difficult periods of my life. He carefully reviewed my imaging, explained my condition in detail, and most importantly continued to personally follow my recovery progress when I felt lost and unsupported after my surgery. What impressed me the most was the level of compassion, professionalism, and attention he provided. Unlike my prior experience, Dr. Benet consistently took the time to examine me in person, review my neurological status thoroughly, answer every question, and explain both the positive findings and the ongoing concerns honestly. His follow-up care has been extraordinary. Despite the seriousness of my postoperative complications, Dr. Benet remained optimistic while still being realistic. He identified ongoing neurological, visual, and balance deficits, coordinated further imaging and treatment, and helped guide me through recovery step by step. His documentation and explanations were incredibly thorough, and he never made me feel rushed or dismissed. Most importantly, he gave me hope. Even during moments where I felt overwhelmed by disability, vision problems, inability to drive, and uncertainty about my future, Dr. Benet continuously encouraged me and reminded me that recovery after major neurosurgery can take significant time. I truly believe Dr. Benet is an exceptional neurosurgeon and physician. His expertise, bedside manner, and dedication to patient care stand out, and I am deeply grateful for the support he and his team have provided throughout my recovery journey.
