We cannot rave enough about working with the Neubeks! Meli and Matt photographed our wedding and did our engagement shoot. And we have been blown away at every turn by their enthusiasm, artistry, commitment, passion for their work, and true desire to really capture us and our story. They are truly professional and very organized and they assisted us greatly in developing our wedding day timeline. They even efficiently organized large groups of people into place for formal photos. They shone in taking both the posed family portraits and especially in capturing incredible candids. Seeing our photos allowed us to really relive our day and see the beauty of moments that were going on around us. The quality of products they produce is phenomenal and our families and friends constantly compliment us on the photos and our engagement album. In addition, our families and friends have all commented that they enjoyed interacting with the Neubeks. For ourselves, we knew we liked them the instant we met them at the one Bridal Expo we attended. Being who we are though, we took an inordinate amount of time choosing a photographer and speaking with others, several of which were also wonderful. However, we kept coming back to these two in our minds and boy, are we glad we chose them! They made us so comfortable that we often forgot they were there. They let us really just be ourselves with only the occasional suggestion for switching hand placement so rings would show, etc. They always seem to be ready to try any new creative shot, get dirty, or climb something for a better angle (if they can't use the drone instead). They work incredibly hard but never seem worried about you taking up their time, are happy to answer any and all questions you have, and for us, it became more like being shadowed by close friends than followed around by strangers. We loved every moment working with them and highly recommend them to anyone! Honestly, we'd love to get married again (to each other of course) just to have the excuse to hire them to photograph us! Words can't describe how happy I am to have used Neubek photographers for my wedding and engagement photos. I came from out of town for a wedding and had seen some of Melissa's photographs online and knew we had to have her for our photographer. Not only is her and Matt's work incredible, they truly added to the joy of the adventure that was our wedding, helping to put us at ease and make us laugh in the stressful time leading up to a destination wedding, noticing little details and helping with recommendations. They added to the day even outside of the photography, with Melissa noticing that one of my bridesmaids wasn't wearing her jewelry, to Matt helping the groom and groomsmen get to the wedding on time. To say they went the extra mile was an understatement; Melissa took it upon herself to frame and set up some engagement photos at our wedding site, and to share with us afterwards some framed photos and customized Christmas ornaments afterwards. This was not previously negotiated in our contract, this was done out of the goodness of their hearts. Matt and Melissa not only gave us the priceless gift of capturing memories that will last a lifetime, but they truly added to the happiness that was one of the most special time of our lives. This review is well over due, but Melissa and Matt Neubek with Neubek Photographers is AMAZING!! Over the last couple of years my wife and I got married and started a family and luckily we found Neubek Photography just in time to capture every moment!! WE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER WITH THEIR WORK!! They always take the most amazing pictures for us! We have hired them 5 times already, and recommend them every chance we get. The whole experience couldn't be any better. Their communication before, during and after was superb, they always make the shoot tons of fun (especially for our infant son), and the pictures are worth more than gold! We are very happy with our photos this year! We booked a one hour shoot and managed to get our daughter's birthday photos, our Christmas photos, and some romantic shots of my husband and I. Matt and Melissa work well together to get really unique shots and angles. You never feel rushed, or uncomfortably posed. They just work around you as you have fun! I also met with Melissa prior to the shoot to discuss my view for the shoots, wardrobe choices, what areas of myself I am sensitive about (LOL!) and she made sure to keep all of these details in mind. They are also especially great with small children. Our daughter is 4 and they got her to really cooperate and even watched that she didn't run away while my husband and I were doing our photos. We chose Neubek Photography for our reception photos, since I've known Melissa for YEARS and have also hired her for other photos as well. (As well as done friend-type, hanging out things with her. She's so fun. :)) Matt and Melissa together are a FANTASTIC pairing, and their eye for the best shot is amazing. Working with Melissa and Matt is such a natural experience. They have a disarming way about them that makes you feel at ease in a situation that could otherwise be uncomfortable. We've now worked with them on two separate occasions, a styled wedding/trash the dress shoot and a maternity shoot.
