One movie ticket please. Plus popcorn, coke, ooh Malteasers. Oh and that choctop too. Head out to Network Video instead of the cinemas this weekend and save yourself some of your hard earned money. Whatever happened to the good old night in? They have three walls of new releases to choose from, so it's hard not to find SOMETHING everyone can watch. They also have video games for Xbox and Playstation available, if you want to entertain the kids for a week (or over the school holidays). Better yet, if you come in on a Tuesday everyone can pick their own so you won't get stuck watching whatever dad wants. Renting a film on Tuesdays will only cost you a dollar so there's license to go rent-crazy (so long as you return the DVDs on time). This includes new releases, which is perfect for those of us that don't have time to make it to the cinemas. So buy yourself some microwavable popcorn, pick a movie to watch and have a chill night snuggled in to your favourite Scary Movie remake. Unfortunately nothing can fix a bad movie choice like Children of the Corn - heads up if you're considering this film! read more
