NOLAN IS AN AMAZING AGENT, THERE ARE NONE BETTER...SERIOUSLY!!!…read more How we came to Nolan is through a bad experience initially with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage with one of their other agents and the Broker, Carol A. immediately contacted me to fix things. That spoke volumes to her professionality and careful consideration to a transaction gone bad. While the initial transaction couldn't be salvaged, she asked me to give Coldwell one more shot and said I would get one of her best agents ever. She wasn't kidding. She put us in touch with Nolan Formalarie and we began work the very next day. Due to several factors, we needed to work quickly on finding a home to purchase. Nolan accommodated every request, quickly, efficiently and effectively. He knew everything there was to know about each house we saw and even crawled into the crawl spaces of some homes I couldn't do to check if everything was good. He wore many hats! Nolan went so far above and beyond for us that I truly have never had such an attentive, informed, and all around wonderful and kind person work with my husband and I. I am so grateful to Carol A (Broker) who first took the time to address my review of my experience with the other agent, act on it to correct it and then give me this gem of an agent and person. If you are looking to purchase, sell or rent your home(s) in the Southport, Oak Island, Shalotte... heck all these areas and more... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you use Nolan. He's so good at what he does, he's always there for his clients no matter what and is unbelievable with his knowledge base of this industry, communities, amenities as well as having contacts in financing, etc... He's just amazing at what he does! Plain and simple.....USE NOLAN.... or your just settling for second best. We love you Nolan and so greatly appreciate all your work for us. We wish the best for you and yours.... thank you, thank you for everything and we look forward to staying in touch.

After reading the many positive reviews, researching and spending time on their aesthetically pleasing website, we decided to give Swanson Realty a call. Immediately, we were offered a congratulations, a "We can't wait to have you here!", and my favorite "Miss Tammy is here today and she's going to do you one good!" The office staff punched us through to Miss Tammy and we hit the ground running. Tammy offered us contact information for a great mortgage lender, and many insights to the areas we were interested in. Back in Ohio, our house listed for sale the same weekend we decided to go house hunting with our realtor in North Carolina. Miss Tammy walked us through each and every house we were interested in- even the more unsightly houses and against her better judgment- though she'd never say it- at least until we agreed it was terrible. Ha! She was encouraging and supportive throughout the entire hunting process. Our last day in North Carolina, we toured what would become our home. While it was not complete, and was the shell of what it is now, Tammy was confident in the builder, the area, and how much we loved it. After many set backs with our Ohio home, Miss Tammy remained encouraging and completely engaged in our selling and buying process. She truly cared and wanted what was best for us. Tammy was able to navigate our home inspections and new home walk through with our builder while we were tending to things in Ohio. We closed on our North Carolina home just two days after closing in Ohio. We could not have moved as confidently as we did without Miss Tammy's ever present encouragement and support. Thank you for setting us up right and "doing us a good one!"

My husband and I started looking for a primary residence in downtown Wilmington last fall. We were looking for a buyer's agent. We 'warned' Marge that we were not quite ready to move from Durham, but wanted to casually look and become educated about the options in our target area. I lost count of the number of homes/townhomes/condos we looked at! Marge was very patient, helped us hone in on our priorities, and guided us through the wide range of neighborhoods as we looked for a good fit over a 9-month period. Even though my husband and I had different thoughts about what we wanted, Marge helped us find something to meet both of our needs. Probably the most important part of Marge's service to us came when we finally decided to make an offer on a property. We have heard many people say, "Why would you even need a realtor in today's world?" Since the laws are changing about compensation for realtors, there are many differing opinions. The seller for our property was using an agency which primarily helped list the property, but did nothing else to help either the seller or the buyer through the process. If Marge had not been there to help us (and go above and beyond the call of duty to guide the seller!), we would not have completed the offer, inspection, repair process, or closing! She was absolutely key to helping us close on our new home. I would not recommend anyone struggling through this process without an experienced agent - you never know who the person on the other end of the deal may be!!! Many thanks to Marge!
