My first try at an 'agroturismo' was a wonderful time.
You…read moremust call to get in. But we called just a few minutes before and got four seats. Probably that was because if was cloudy and cool in August.
The cold cut appetizers would have been enough for me, but I soldiered on.
(Prosciutto, duck salami, etc. )
- homemade gnocchi with a tartuffo sauce
- risotto with fontina and mint
- beef with green beans and potatoes
All fresh all from 'next door'
All tasty
Dessert - dark chocolate cake, tiramisu, lemon tart, 'Italian mousse' (sorry best way up can describe it)
Then coffee
Then amaranthe
(Oh and a great sparkling white wine throughout)
